Tinubu Tears Peter Obi’s Manifesto Apart; Says Document is Intellectually Empty
Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress Bola Tinubu has taken a swipe at the campaign manifesto of his Labour Party’s counterpart Mr. Peter Obi.
He said the document is empty and shows the LP candidate as vapid and an impostor.
Obi had presented a 72-paged document which his campaign titled “It’s Possible: Our Pact With Nigerians”.
Warning Nigerians to stare clear of Obi, Tinubu, in the statement by his campaign Media Director Bayo Onanuga, said, Obi is not prepared to lead a country like Nigeria.
The statement said “Contrary to the image of a reformer and thinker Obi and his followers have created of him, we make bold to say that the Labour Party candidate is vapid, intellectually arid, a mere impostor who only seeks to play on the emotions of his gullible followers. Mr. Obi's policy document, if anything, has only exposed him as ill-prepared for the titanic task of governing a country the size of Nigeria. As a candidate, he has nothing new to offer Nigerians beyond hawking fake statistics and preying on the young people’s sentiments as a demagogue. “
He also accused Obi of imitating what the current BUhari administration is doing but in a rather poor way.
“In fact, the document Mr. Obi released is a poor imitation and regurgitation of what the current APC-led administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is doing. If anything, the document showed him as a man without honour, credibility and character because he is promising to do all the things he has railed against and de-legitimised in the past.”
The statement said Obi’s manifesto is only high on graphics and what it called “demagogic rhetorics”.

Tinubu that does not know his manifesto, how come he is able to read Obi's more than 70 page document.

Instead of snipping at Obi's manifesto. Bat's handlers should rather spend time to teach the old man his own manifesto so that he would not be delegating the likes of El-Rufai, Fayemi and co to talk on his behalf.

By the way El-rufai should be the last person to address the issue of security with Kaduna being the hqters of banditary and cow rusting.
