which is your favourite cable tv service provider

As more and more cable tv decoders enter the nigerian market, so the rise in their marketing strategies which sometimes make it difficult for one to decide which is best to go for.

Well, i'm recently moved out of my family house and would like to know which cable tv decoder is most reliable and cost effective for watching champions league, nollywood, discoveries, world news, distant local stations, cartoons etc.

so, i'd like everyone to do me this favour by telling me which cable decoder they know about (whether DSTV, Strong, HiTv, etc) - the number of channels available (how many free and how many paid channels) and their monthly subscription fees.

Your contributions are highly welcome!

hitv is more affordable and its a nigerian company,see my signature for a good offer,premium bouquet is just #3,500 monthly.

@poster: this your market survey good o! grin Me too wan watch CHELSEA TV 247!

Back to your question: I've got DSTV and HITV. Planning to buy STRONG soonest.

HITV seems to be more durable as I have carried out repairs on my DSTV decoder twice. Also, It booths faster; has free to air channels (though mostly shit); requires lesser energy (power) to function; monthly subscription is cheap (because they have nothing to offer).

DSTV on the other hand has: more and better channels; no free-to-air channels; variety of bouquets; reasonable monthly subscriptions when compared with their offerings.
From what I have gathered, STRONG seems to be best. Most Cards work in it;

hi bro,hitv is a nigerian company and its major mission is to deliver quality and all round entertainment to entire nigerian either poor or rich, i.e very affordable,hitv is also adding least 15 more interesting channels b4 d end of d year.we all have to support our own company.
cheers.

oh guys, i'm so impressed with your responses . . .it actually sprang up another important question
on my mind: Is it true the particular channels you receive depends on the positioning of your dish? why i'm asking is to know whether the HiTv you're recommending can possibly give me chelsea Tv when positioned in the right direction.

thanks once again.
