The leadership of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the Peoples Democratic Party has approved the appointment the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as a member of the campaign council.

Adeleke was appointed as the Chairman of the South-West Coordinating Committee of the campaign council, according to a notice signed by the Director-General of the PDP PCO, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, on Saturday.

Other key PDP members were also appointed to head strategic campaign offices to steer the Atiku Abubakar presidential bid.

Senator Dino Melaye was appointed the Director of Public Affairs.

“These appointments are with immediate effects,” Tambuwal said.

Giving adeleke is ok.am not sure of diri,he doesnt seem that committed.he doesn't command influence even in his state.
In nw,shekarau or lamido would have been better fits.they have more influence and followers hip and are on the ballot.aliero doesnt look agile.
In ne,giving a Christian is a bad fit.how will he appeal to the Muslims except atiku has conceded the Muslim votes.fintiri or bala would have been better,at least it will assuage bala.Darius is highly unpopular in his state.same thing in se where t.a orji is about to retire and he is heavily loathed.which votes will he command? Dickson against all opposition made Diri, PDP's governorship candidate. Diri of late , allegedly is in a power tussle with his benefactor on who controls the party structure. Signs of reconciliation has emerged recently.Diri and Dickson visited Buhari, Dickson was made the chairman of the Bayelsea PDP PCC,( Advisory board). Saw him in the Lagos rally. Alaibe was present during the Launch of the Bayelsea PDP PCC...also he was present in the SS stakeholders zonal meeting at Uyo.
