To be fair, this Russia-Ukraine war started in 2014, not 2022, when USA orchestrated the ouster of Russia-leaning democratically elected president of Ukraine. The president that replaced him is USA/NATO-leaning, which made ethnic Russians in Donbass regions try to break away from Ukraine. The presidents of Ukraine since then has been doing to Donbass regions since 2014 what Russia started doing in Feb 2022, that is, heavy shelling and bombardment.

When the Parliament ratified the EU agreement and there was no protest in Ukraine, and protest only started when the President went against the Parliament. You can't blame Ukraine for wanting closer ties with the EU. Russia turned Ukraine into a dumping country same as the West with Africa, can you blame them for wanting better.
After the protest, Russia moved military hardware, from Russia to Ukraine and started terrorism there and cos Ukraine fought back, they say they are shelling the Donbas and killing the people there, when it was Russia that started the shelling there, Ukraine responded as an act of defence.
The war has killed more people, and destroyed more cities, even the people Russia is claiming to what to save, they have displaced and killed them. Ukrainians are not killing Ukrainians, it is Russia that's killing Ukrainians.
Ukraine is fighting for it's independence and Sovereignty.
