Of course not. They've proven that in the past two months.

I expected them however to maintain the victimhood and oppressed position that garnered them worldwide support. It won't portray them well to many observers that they were the first to fire after a ceasifire.

hamas is always the first to violate any ceasefire maybe you should do more research first before taking side.

Everyone who understands the genesis of the crisis knows what they are fighting for. They can not run out of sympathy from the world. This is a fight that will continue until they are granted their own statehood and until Israel recognises them as humans who have rights. I read Netanyahu some days ago saying he is the only one that can stop the Palestinian people from getting their own state. And you want peace to reign? You can't say you want peace and be stealing people's land in the first place. Killing them daily and demolishing their homes to pave way for your illegal settlements on their land.

This is just the beginning expect another Oct 7th in the future. One thing I have understand is that Israel itself does not want peace and it won't have it. Though if the war starts again the next thing is to start using its air force to kill harmless civilians but the Palestinians won't relent those fighting occupation are always dogged and relentless regardless of the enemy's onslaught.
