You've just done what i don't have the time to do, hence my initial agreement with him, because I've been busy all day and don't have the time to lecture him.

This is a clear detail of what's happening and what happened in bakhmut.

The only problem is these western slaves who will rather remain myopic and emotionally dysregulated than accept reality.

Don't mind them. Many of them are just being emotional. To them, it is either you support the US or you're against the US. There is no middle ground. The moment you say anything that doesn't support the US, irrespective of whether the statement is neutral or supports Russia, they instantly term you a Russian supporter. This is the same thing the US does, and that's why Ukraine and Russia are at war.

The US didn't want Ukraine to be pro-Russia and they didn't want it to be neutral. Ukraine had to be pro-US and must join NATO. Russia won't take that, the same way the US won't take a pro-Russia Mexico or Canada or Panama or Cuba. By the time this is all over, we will tell them we said so. We told them.

in the early stages of the war last year, we told these NaZI NATO foøls that Russia is too big to be brought to its knees but the foøls didn't listen, instead they were masturbating and permutating on Twitter how sanctions will cripple Russia to shyte and that they will come back to beg the world after getting chased out of Ukraine before the 2022 ends.

I saw delusional posts by half-baked analysts who told us that Russia has no technology and yada yada yada.. Russia is not some North Korea or Afghanistan they can kill with aggressive sanctions or war. I guess the reality has dawned unto them and they no longer sing those Anti-Russia permutations and predictions to our ears.

There is no way Russia would have higher losses than Ukraine. It is impossible. Ukraine has higher losses in terms of personnel and equipment losses. It was a few months ago that the lady that leads the EU revealed that Ukraine had suffered over 100k casualties. That was the moment Western media switched from claiming "Russia is losing" to "Russia is fighting a war of attrition and both sides are losing".

As you correctly stated, the rule says the attacking force needs 3x more troops than the defender, if both armies are equal. But the figure could be reduced if one side is more powerful. Russia is the more powerful force here. Ukraine has lost the bulk of its navy, armor, and all of its air force. It currently relies on "defensive" weapons like anti-tanks rockets and manpads to counter Russia's offensive weapons like tanks and aircraft.

At this point, Ukraine easily has over a million troops in the war. It was like 600k before the war but they heavily mobilized. The numbers soon gave it an edge over Russia's 150k troops, which forced Russia to mobilize another 300k. Those 300k are not fighting. They're only used in defensive and rear roles to erode whatever advantage Ukraine got/will get from the massive mobilization.

That said, casualties are based on one thing only, which is firepower. The more powerful side has more firepower and can attack from longer ranges. This results in lesser casualties for the powerful side and more casualties for the weaker side.

But this strength factor can be affected by one other thing, which is "Who is attacking?" Let us assume the stronger side has 1 casualty for every 10 on the weaker side. When the stronger side is attacking, its casualties can easily go up to 2 for every 10 soldiers killed on the weaker die. If the weaker side is attacking, its casualty can easily go up to 15 soldiers for every one killed on the stronger side.

Now, you will be wondering, how is Russia still in the war despite being outnumbered by Ukraine?

It is because Russia prevents Ukraine from using its large army to its advantage. If you look at maps from this war, you will notice that Russia isolates battlefields. When it attacks an area/city, It blocks the flanks (sides) and then enters from the middle. Think of it as Russia drawing a letter U around a city. Ukraine can only send in reinforcements and resupply the battlefield using the open gap at the top of the U.

That is hard for Ukraine as Russia monitors the roads leading to that open gap and uses long range missiles, kamikaze drones, aircraft, and artillery to destroy any Ukrainian resupplies and reinforcements its spots.

The weird thing is that the strongest Russian units are the ones responsible for blocking the flanks. They are rarely deployed into the city to do the actual fighting.

We saw this happen in Bakhmut where Russia used its powerful armored units and the elite VDV to cover the flanks while Wagner entered the city. The same happened in Mariupol where Russian armored units, Marines, and VDV units covered the flanks while the Chechens entered the city. It also happened in Luhansk where Russian Marines, VDV, and armor covered the flanks while the Luhansk People's Republic and Chechens and Russian infantry soldiers did the fighting. Even the elite 1 Tank Army, which is responsible for protecting Moscow, was deployed to cover the flanks in Luhansk.

Mind you, the Wagnerians, Chechens, and Russian infantry fighting inside the city were outnumbered but they didn't have to bother about being attacked from the flanks, so they were able to focus on the battle. They had had heavy firepower too - way more than what Ukraine has. At the same time, the Ukrainians in the city had to put the Russians in the flanks into consideration cos they're even more powerful than the ones they were fighting with inside the city.

So how can Ukraine counter this?

Interestingly, the only way Ukraine could have won or at least prevented its destruction in Mariupol, Luhansk, and recently, Bakhmut, was not to focus on attacking the Chechens, Wagner, and Russian units inside the city but to focus on attacking the powerful forces protecting the flanks.

If those powerful units fall, the ones inside the city (Wagner, Chechen, and the Russian motorized infantries) will retreat. This was why the Wagner commander was shouting and fighting with the Russian general staff weeks ago. It wasn't because he wasn't been supplied as he claimed. It was because the Russian general staff planned to, and later withdrew the VDV from the flanks and sent in motorized infantry units as replacements. Motorized infantry is no match for mechanized infantry or armor.

Extremely informative and educative.

Very simple question;

If you are given the choice to emigrate to USA\britain or Russia, which would you choose?

Which society will reward your effort best and which society will you face discrimination worse as a black man?

The US is imperfect, no world super power can be, but I'm damn sure they will be far much better than china and Russia with the same power. At least by looking at how their government recognizes and handles the rights of its own citizenry.

The ideals of democracy seen in America and other western countries is far better than what you see in authoritarian china and Russia where the restriction of individual rights and will is as rampant as can be. Highly suppressed.

For fvcks sake, Obama's story is the ultimate proof and beauty of western society, Obama's father was no different from any of our own fathers, an average African man who went to the land of freedom and opportunity in search of Greener pastures and in 40 years time got to see his son become the most powerful man on earth. Like, think about this for a minute, an Average African man who left Africa, who was a nobody in the US got to see his son become the president of the most powerful nation on earth. That is testament to the open opportunity available to all.

Today we see our black African brothers who occupy the highest positions in the western world. One adeosun in Britain, one senior black African military commander in the Pentagon. Various black American ambassadors representing America in Europe and UN, successfull African entrepreneurs across America.

Show me any prominent African in china or Russia, so miss me with your hypocritical bullshite.
Many of you here supporting Russia would be on the fastest plane to America if you were given a choice between Russia and america but of course it's easy to support Russia while you're far detached from the realities of Ukrainians who were literally being invaded.

You guys should get the fvck out of here with your hypocritical bullshite.

.

You chose the wrong person to be proud of.

First, Obama can be classed as White. I'm sure he himself didn't identify as African cos if he did, he wouldn't as the president of the then greatest country in the world invade the motherland.

The same man contributed to the instability in Africa, reduced a once prosperous Libya into ruins, directly and indirectly causing millions of deaths in Africa including in Nigeria by supplying millions of Libya weapons to insurgent groups and terrorists like Boko Haram across Africa.

Are we talking about the same man who caused thousands of deaths of your fellow countrymen by sanctioning Nigeria because GEJ refused to legalize the "Alphabet people"? Obama dropped the most bombs of any president in history when not at war. That man killed more civilians than the rulers of the so-called dictator countries.

No doubt that the US recognize the rights of its citizens. Do they recognize the rights of those who are not US citizens? We are not Americans so its democracy doesn't concern us when all they do is dropping bombs on those who are not their citizens. I hope you know that the US is currently sponsoring the genocide and forced displacement of Palestinians. Maybe you can start your condemnation from there.

China and Russia doesn't go about stoking instability or influencing regime change in Africa. The US is only interested in war, instability, regime change. China has the most investments in Africa. And we are talking about Trains, infrastructure, airports and not Military bases like the other country I won't mention.

Finally, no one is calling for the annihilation of the US. We are supporting Russia and China because they are helping to checkmate a bully. Syria survives as a country because of Russia.

Now Just imagine that there is nothing standing in their way. I'm sure half of Africa would have been invaded.

@bolded don't get way ahead of yourself with that lame BS, there's nothing special about Britain/US. I have relatives living in UK and they don't even sing praises of the British empire to me like it was Utopia or something.

And to your question, the only reason I'm choosing to live in UK over Russia is nothing other than communication freedom, other than that, there's absolutely no way in hell I'd choose UK over Russia assuming Russia has at least 55% English speakers like Germany. Commodities are way cheaper in Russia compared to US/UK, why would I leave Russia for such expensive countries? Do you know citizens of francophone countries like Cameroon and Senegal would rather choose to live in France over US/UK? Why is that?

And regarding the US, I'll never visit or live in that Godforsaken country till I die even if I was given their visa for free. Satanic Country of gays, LGBTQ shytes and not to mention where a black man can get shot dead for mundane reasons is not where I'd want to visit. It is you who needs to GTFOH with your BS.

And again, you don't dictate to countries how they choose their way of life. US let's Africans and others occupy positions of leadership in their country, that's their problem, others don't necessarily have to allow that, Same way your hypocrisy forgot how there are little to no foreigners occupying the Nigerian leadership body. Can you allow a Cameroonian or a German join your Nigerian Army let alone Being a Nigerian senator? Your hypocrisy stinks.
