How i wish all these rules can be applicable to them, Emefiele inclusive. But obviously they spend Nigeria money on themselves; not their own personal money. What the hell of a time to be a Nigerian.

At this juncture, i think federal, states and local governments should organise a proffessional team that will go into market places and enlighten local traders on the importance of the re-designed naira notes

And also how to identify or differenciate fake notes from the real ones.
Or have it withdrawn

Despite the adequate publicity and sensitisation? Nigerians will always be Nigerians.

Adequate? In a half literate country? You are a funny chap.
This is something that is carried out slowly over a few years in most climes.
Y'all are so used to the stampede approach that it is your new normal.

This was not well thought through in the least.

what's the difference in the previous money Worth to this one? Don't be daft

You're the daft one here.
undecided

People are rejecting this one because they think it's fake, that shows the people were not properly informed.

It's even very easy to fake this money by dying it since most people won't check the dates on any money they see.

When 100 naira was redesigned it didn't cause this much confusion.

Nigerians will still comply. It's only a matter of time. All this kindergarten attempts to use the lagos/Ibadan expressway media to discredit the policy will fail. This is just part 1; part 3 and 4 are cooking in the oven. Onward with Baba Lagos's defeat.

What's special about the policy?

No be only professional team, na family team. This is money and people will react to any change to it just like they are doing now. The reaction is normal, it would have been abnormal if people just accept it without such reaction.
Anyone with his/her memory cap on will understand that there was never a time in this country when money is introduced and people just take it without reaction. People reacted to the polymer notes when they were introduced, they did the same when 100 was introduced, in fact, some people saw the first 100 naira as nothing different from 10 naira but eventually non spent it as 10 naira but as 100 naira. The new notes should not be expected to receive different reception from others

The designs of those new notes look so pedestrian. No attempt to introduce some sophisticated appeals to the designs. Very bland. Looks like the labels you see in some Nigerian breads. No wonder folks are worried about counterfeits.. Buharis in-law is the chairman of the Nigerian security and Minting Company. Only God knows what they're up to..

Which design?

I really don't blame Nigerians on this one. The older versions are better than the new notes. The essence of having a newer version of a product or service is to make it of better quality and improved, the other way is the case here.

You better wake up and understand the war is about struggle not religious and ethnic sentiments.

Dangote is more close to Pope of Rome than a poor Reverend father of a village church, because Pope and Dangote are at the top of the pyramid.

Laws that work in develop country don’t work in 3rd world country.

Not every law will work here is Nigeria. Things like state police. We all saw how governors refuse opposition party to use this state’s facilities for campaign. This cashless policy is one of such. The tradition should be gradual not in the rush. We have more banking population right bow than we did a decade again. So its gradual as people build trust and transit naturally by themselves.
