Why Don't Rich Pastors Emphasize On This Bible Quote. by MeeztaBugaman: 9:41am On Dec 18, 2022 |
I have noticed that most rich pastors are not bothered about challenging the need for members to pay tithes and offerings. When challenged about it they always find a way to defend it even if it was an old doctrine that is not recently practiced the way the bible specified it. However, I have not seen any of them that makes their members remember when Jesus said it will be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a niddle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Why do we not hear pastors talk about this and explain to us why they attain so much wealth and encourage their members to acquire wealth in order to pay huge tithes. |

Truth is, that is in the realm of daily lifestyle. Oftentimes little is said about that by many Pastors. Listen to Pastor Adeboye sermons online and you will find what you seek. |

According to Jesus his disciples are not supposed to bear religious titles because that's what Satan agents love {Matthew 23:8-10} so among true disciples of Christ it's only members that knows those serving as leaders of the group (Apostles) just as it was difficult for the Pharisees to identify Jesus in the midst of his disciples. So whenever you find any religion where titles are held for public recognition know that they are agents of the devil not Christians. As for the aspect of riches you can't expect imperfect humans seeking titles to be content with the little they have because they need to show something for their titles to be worthwhile so riches comes to mind but Jesus warned his own disciples not to seek riches {Matthew 6:19-21} because they can't be seeking riches and at the same time remain faithful to the ministry! Matthew 6:24 I am Maximus one of Jehovah's Witnesses, if you have any question please feel free to ask. God bless you and may you have PEACE! |

MeeztaBugaman:what exactly is the thing you have against wealth or do you want people to die in poverty for you to know that they are of Christ?. Look my friend, read your bible as if you are reading events that have happened in the past and set yourself free. By virtue of Christ resurrection the kingdom of God is already here. But before he was crucified when he was yet with his disciples , it was easier for the camel to go through an eye of the needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom because it required the disciples to sell their belongings and give the money to the poor and follow Christ as poor people for them to attend this same kingdom we are enjoying freely today. But selling their valuable properties and give the money to the poor to follow Christ was not comfortable for the wealthy people at that time, only the poor who had nothing could afford to do that. That's why Jesus said blessed are the poor in heart.. But after his crucifixion and resurrection it wasn't so anymore. As a matter of fact the kingdom is wide open to all classes of people irrespective of their economic status, no segregation . So long they believe in Christ they are all saved . The gospel of peace is very simple |

paxonel: The fact we condemn riches is not approval of poverty for even The Lord is against poverty. Proverbs 28:19/ Deuteronomy 15:4. Sufficiency is The Law. (Ecclesiastes 5:18) and He that is given riches has been appointed by God to be administer them to the poor and hungry. Ecclesiastes 5:11) But as we see, the rich never obey God, therefore, they are condemned. Those who are rich are unlawfully withholding the portion of the poor. |

Dtruthspeaker:do you generalise that all rich people never obey God and that all of them do unlawfully withhold the portion of the poor, therefore all of them should be condemned? |

paxonel: I verily do say that all them rich, are condemned already for if they were not, they would not be rich. Riches is a type of destruction. |
