The SE governors should be serious about stopping this... it's not yielding any positive result. This fight is affecting the people more than it's affecting the government |

The evil we planted in the South East has fully grown. We nurtured the monster and today we are reaping the fruit of our labour. My people are now the most useless ethnic group in Nigeria. I will stop being an Igbo man if we have Biafra under this vampires 4 Likes |

Nchenches: Really? Same government agents who you wanted out of the SE and were supporting IPOB/ESN killings of them by the dozen? So you’re finally tired of sitting at home and have seen how self-defeating, myopic and senseless it is as your “UGM Angels” have turned to tormenting demons abi? Even the sponsor of the article (a cry for help) couldn’t put together a workable solution to the self inflicted sit at home crisis. It’s either the people collectively decide to bring down and totally destroy the IPOB terrorists they sponsored and nurtured, or they deal with the monsters they made by themselves as they continue to sit at home under the barrels of IPOB guns. 1 Like |

The present APC government lead by Buhari is responsible for all the insecurity in the south east For those who have visited the south east recently you will agree with me that you can't drive for 5mins without seeing a security check point. All security agencies in Nigeria is controlled from Abuja!! If the present government is not responsible and encouraging the insecurity why then is it that every Monday and when the criminals call Ipob and ESN Declare seat at home you won't find any security agent at the numerous check point? 1 Like |

SLAP44:The sit at home only works in the south East and nowhere else. Are you now telling me only Igbos residing in the south east are supporting ipob or Kanu? Why aren't those Igbos residing elsewhere sitting at home in protest of the continued incarceration of Kanu as you put it? Can you see how stupid you sound? The reason Easterners residing in the East are sitting at home is because they're cowards she fear being killed and cannibalised by Kanu's boys. Get that logic into your thick skull. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Me I like the sit at home order ; it's the cheap route to defend Peter Obi reason to loosing the coming election and that is also a defence to PDP and Atiku to move to Dubai one more time to safe face as reason for loosing another election . Let the sit at home order go on it's good for them all ! There is no way Peter Obi can win even with the 100+10% total votes he can't win ! |

SLAP44: But you have forgotten that what was lost, financially, within 3 years of civil then can be lost within 5 months in present day economic reality. Do you know what finance professionals call future or present value of money? An investment of N12,487.16 in 1967 is worth N63,461.60 (on a compound basis) today, taking after tax interest rate (calculated then) to be 3%. So, states obeying/observing the sit-at-home instruction may be loosing than they think they are gaining because for every N12k lost in 1967, they are loosing N63k today and that's like 500% increase in loss. If this could continue into the future, expect the region to remain po.o.rer than it was before the sit-at-home order 1 Like |
