2023 election wouldn't be won by rallies and endorsements. 80% of voters are under 40 and conversant with social media. People are making up their minds. In the past elections, young people usually in their 20s or 30s were always seen in rallies.
People are looking for what to eat.

I used to think that you are from the South East and should have a feel of the current political sentiment in the SE and SS.

Obi does not actually need to campaign in Rivers State to win. To me it is a waste of scarce Resources.

Unlike our state PDP that provides numerous free buses and actually pay through the Ward executives for people to go and even provide free drinks and at times swallow. The LP team never provided that .

So those that attended are those around Elekahia road and others that can afford the time and money.

However, everyone i know here in the state starting from my Etchie clan is routing for Obi for President.

So please do not make any political capital from the Rally as Obi would score more than 75% vote from Rivers State. If Wike show open support then he will coasting home with 85% or more as Obi’s popularity is increasing each day.

I recon that Obi knew this and was also very sensitive to Nyerisi Wike by making it a bit low keyed. He did not even address the Traditional rulers at their secretariate as originally planned as Nyerisi did not want to set a precedence. May be he might meet them secretly at the Bricks house.

It might interest you to know that no party is actively campaigning openly for any other presidential candidate here except PDP renegades supporting Atiku who are doing so only on media interviews.

I have seen many election cycles and PO is well positioned to inherit all Ebele Jonathan’s votes.
