It's too early to quit at his age, but I believe he took the decision after painstaking consideration and knowing that there's no future for him in the national team.

I remember the dispute between Sunday Oliseh and Vincent Enyeama which eventually forced Vincent out.

A coach can ne changed at anytime. He could have just kept quiet and continue to work as usual. He could be called back. Benzema kept silent for year's and was finally called back.

He looks young to me. His hairline is still very good. And I don’t see any cracks in his face.

No mind these fools, anyone wey over 25 dem put their grandpapa face join.

He is a very aggressive, ball playing goalkeeper - some coaches do not like that style. They would have done better in the tournament if he was in goal as he keeps close control over a third of the pitch.

The coach should not have chosen him for the World Cup squad since he knew his style of play and what he wanted is differnt...why did Pep replace Joe Hart and why did Enrique drop De Gea from the national team...Do you think its gonna be easy for Onana to change is Style of play of 10 years...

There nothing modern in the way Onana plays. its a risk. Such risks can be entertained in the league but not during tournaments.
