If you've lived in Lagos in the 80s or in the 90s, you'd know that Lagos was more developed than other states in Nigeria. This was because, the seaport was a very strategic point for imports into the country and there was much industrialisation happening at that time in Lagos.

When Lagos became the capital of Nigeria, development was so fast and it became everyone's preferred choice. It's really crazy hearing Tinubu developed Lagos.

Under Tinubu, Lagos had more Agberos (Street urchins) constituting nuisance and collecting owoda at the bus stops. He also taxed Lagosians to the extent that people selling wares in their streets were taxed and there was nothing to show that tax was collected.

Under Fashola and Ambode, Lagos regained its beauty once again with many infrastructural and developmental strides.

So saying Tinubu built Lagos is a fallacious statement from the pit of hell...
