The Nigeria military should take a lesson from the late Ghadaffy of Libya and Saddam Hussien of Iraq. Under those two leaders, when domestic terror groups wanted to destroy their countries, Saddam Hussien and Ghaddaffy ordered their troops to use nerve gas on those domestic terrorists. And a few months later, not years, all the terrorists were eliminated. Nigeria needs to do the same. Spread nerve gas in the state of Borno to kill everybody there and the rest will be history. Stop playing this tic for tac game because it will not work.

This sort of thing is what foreign powers do to destabilise promising Africa nations. For instance they might set up cells that promote ethnic divisions by exploiting ethno fault lines that may exist in the target society. All multi ethnic/ multi racial/ multi religious nations have these fault lines. Anyway, to keep this short, let's just suppose that in our case they identified Igbos of Nigeria as being the most promising group to use as catalyst. When they believe the time is ripe, they would execute the second phase of the plan -for instance blow up Lagos new train systems. This, they hope, would precipitate a series of bloody events (attacks on Igbos and reprisals ) that would lead to the break up of Nigeria.

However few such plans would succeed in Nigeria were our police and security services fit for purpose.
