I'll like to attend but I'll be in Ibadan and should be back Saturday morning. My fear is if I pay into the account and can't make it on Saturday , can I get a refund or should I just bring the entrance fee on that day ( provided I make it back on time ) ?.

Wow! I understand you. The thing is that there are two different gate fees. The 5K gate fee means we have to get the designer Wale Wades to make a T-shirt for you. Usually, Wades' T-shirts cost N3,500- N5,000 however because we're making 100 T-shirts with him, he's given us a wonderful discount. All the same, if you pay 5K and fail to attend, we would have to hand the T-shirt to you and a balance of N2,500. It will be totally insane if we have to collect N5,000 to give people T-shirts. How would we know what size of T-shirt each person will need if we had not taken their order weeks prior?! E go hard us O!

My suggestion is that you pay N2,500 for the wristband. If you don't attend, we will not only refund your money in full, we will also furnish you with one of the event wristbands. The wahala with this option is that if you are able to attend, you will not get VIP treatment i.e YOU WILL PAY AT ONIRU GATE + YOU WILL GET NOT FISH AND CHIPS + YOU WILL GET A FEW CANS OF KISS MIX / POWER HORSE.

The first edition of the #GrandNigerianParty has come and gone. We had a great time. If you missed it, I really don't know how much the Music Mix will help you sha, but get it. Soon in stores. I'd like to thank The people at Diageo for supplying so much alcohol that we were humbled into drinking responsibly. Wallahi, as I type so, there're still drinks left. Thanks for all the Smirnoff, Red Labels, Gordons, and Irish Cream. The ladies couldn't lay off Smirnoff Premix for a minute! I thank you. Let's do this again in March.

I will go on to thank the artistes who performed: M.Trill Adaz Zarokome Kraft Work and Jon-Jac himself. Y'all were great. By the time some people saw your performances, they even wanted to now pay more gate fee, but #IsaidNO!

Oya the thank yous are getting too many already. We had a great time, and we do believe every one who came around did too. By the way, the way, the lady who supplied all the grilled fish left her number O! In case you're ever on Oniru Beach, 07088869455. She'd never sold so much fish in one day, especially on a day when she thought the eyo Festival would shrink sales. In her words, "broda, helep me taink dem O! Dem sabi chop life". Hmmm.

Ehen, I almost forgot, The girls from Valentine Creamy Escorts, who escorted themselves to Elegushi Beach instead of Oniru, I greet you! I guess next time, we'll have you chained at the venue a week from the party. All my Nairaland people, thanks for attending. Our Hip on TV people, we hope you enjoyed yourselves O!
