Sen Ifeanyi Ubah offset hospital bills for patients at NAUTH.

...as he spent over Ten Million Naira only (#10,000,000.00) on the Boxing Day as Medical Outreach.

The Senator representing the good people of Anambra South Senatorial District at 9th Senate and also the YPP candidate for Senate, Anambra South in the upcoming 2023 General Elections, Distinguished Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah (Ebubechukwu Uzo), arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) , Nnewi on the 26/12/2022 (Boxing Day) as part of his annual routine visit to both the hospital's management, staffs and patients.

This year's visit was so special for many reasons, among which were the settlement of bills for all the patients on admission, provision of succour to those still on admission, and distribution of Christmas gifts to everybody inside the hospital's premises, both patients and staffs.

Many already discharged patients who were stranded in the hospitals due to their inability to settle their respective hospital bills, went home to enjoy the Christmas with their loved ones that day, because Sen Ubah settled all the accumulated bills for each an everyone of them. Truly, there is something special about these noble man, called the Prince of the Senate by his colleagues.

Dr Ifeanyi Ubah: A Senator That Feels The Pulse Of His People.

The past weeks have seen a beehive of activities take place in Anambra South Senatorial District courtesy of the Senator representing them at the red Chambers, Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah as he moved around the entire 7 local government areas to kick off the operation Secure And Light Up Anambra South District and also touch lives.

The installation of the bases for the street lights in all the wards is currently ongoing courtesy of the indigenous contractors hired from the wards.

The committees that will organise the Ifeanyi Ubah Academy Soccer Competition have also been inaugurated with the entire teams fully kitted and the competition about to commence.

His Eminence Cardinal Peter Ebere Okpaleke was also graciously on hand to open the St Patrick's hospital built in Ula, Ekwulobia Community by the Senator.
A two days free medical outreach was also conducted at the premises of the new hospital with surgeries, free reading glasses, and medicines dispensed to several persons that trooped out during the two days exercise.

The Catholic Youth Organisation (CYON), Ekwulobia Diocese got gifted a new Toyota Sienna vehicle to help aid their activities.

Senator Ubah then embarked on Christmas visits to various hospitals and churches catering to the sick and poor in society.

While paying Christmas homage at the residence of the Nnewi Anglican Bishop, where he went bearing various gifts and food items for the poor and the needy being catered to by the church. The Anglican Bishop, Rt. Reverend Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi, did not mince words in praying that the Senator be granted more grace to continue his giant strides for the people of Anambra South Senatorial District.

At Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), the divine mandate that the Senator carries manifested when a child that had undergone an operation on the head was lying on the bed with his parents eagerly waiting and praying that he talks again.
As the kid watched, the Senator approached his bedside in the hospital, bearing gifts, he stretched out his hand and shook hands with the Senator, who was totally oblivious to the fact that the kid just had an operation on the head. He used his other hand to place a cap on the child's head.
The next thing that happened was when the child excitedly said "Ebubechukwu Uzo," and the parents, nurses, and other patients in the ward started jumping in excitement.
The Senator was informed that the child just had his first speech in the past few days after the operation on the head.
The Senator then embarked on a conversation with the kid and later gave gifts and money to the grateful parents.

The bills of over 30 patients awaiting discharge were also settled by the Senator so that they go home and spend Christmas with their loved ones.

The Senator also went on a radio programme on both Christmas and Boxing Day to interact with the members of his constituency and get feedback from them.
He used the opportunity to gift various items and cash rewards to the callers in order to help make their Christmas a memorable one.

A caller from Adazi Ani, Ekpunobi Chinenye, on the program used the opportunity to tell the Senator her pressing challenge. She is heavily pregnant and has no money to use a hospital for delivery.
The Senator immediately instructed that she come to Nnewi to make use of either the NAUTH or Chidera Hospital close to his house to have her delivery with all expenses paid.

Senator also visited the St Christopher Anglican church recently gutted by fire, where he immediately gave instructions for contractors to commence the rebuilding of the church.

The Senator also visited the premises of the Nnewi Sports Club to inspect the state-of-the-art sports club that he built for them. The sports club building will be commissioned in January and is the best in the entire south East.

He also paid a visit to Okija to inspect the lawn tennis court he is building for the Okija Big Brothers.

These programmes are set to continue with the commissioning of various projects (houses for the poor and the elderly, school blocks, etc), done by the Senator in the 7 local government areas of the Senatorial District.

Indeed, the people rejoice when the righteous is in power.

The Consolidation message is currently trending in the Anambra South Senatorial District.

In Anambra South, it is either Ifeanyi Ubah or Ifeanyi Ubah!
