Oshiomhole Vindicated As Obaseki Allegedly Scams Philip Shaibu Of 300k USD(Video)

"All truth is good to know but not all truth is good to say"

This is an African proverb that  basically means that some things are better said than kept quiet, while others are better left unsaid. Some things are also better expressed by us, while others are better expressed by others.

Some things should be said right away, while others should be said later. Some things should be said privately, while others should be said openly.

But in all of this it still remains that "The naked truth is always better than the best-dressed lie".

Many allegations surfaced prior to the Edo 2020 governorship elections that Obaseki bought the PDP ticket and gave money to the party as represented by Chief Dan Orbih and the candidate for the Edo South senatorial district, Hon Omoregie Ogbeide Ihama, in order for him to become Governor.

A video is currently making the rounds in which Chief Dan Orbih reveals the hidden truth about how much Obaseki actually spent on the PDP ticket. According to the video, Dan Orbih and the legacy PDP did not collect a penny for Obaseki, but instead struck a deal in exchange for the ticket.

However, Dan Orbih confronted Obaseki in front of the PDP governors tasked with resolving the crisis and asked him if he gave them a kobo, to which Obaseki replied that he did not, but Dan Orbih revealed to everyone present that Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu said he contributed $300,000 USD to Obaseki as part of his own contributions to the deal, the total amount of which has yet to be disclosed.

In a nutshell, Philip Shaibu was allegedly duped by Obaseki out of $300,000 USD, which Obaseki collected from Philip and kept in his pocket, according to the video. The video is attached to this article for your viewing pleasure.

If the accusations made by Philip and Dan Orbih are accurate, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State, has been vindicated. Obaseki portrayed him as a devil and the Godfather who never wanted what was best for Edo State.

The PDP marriage between Obaseki and the party was clearly built on deception in order to retain power at the expense of the populace. Why would a sitting Governor allegedly take such large sums of money from his deputy and keep the proceeds for himself?

What traits of Godfatherism and deception can be more than what the Edo Governor has done to the party, for which he has broken promises, and to his Deputy, whom they claim he has scammed for $300,000 USD?

In this case, the public and the people of Edo State should be the judge. Obaseki and Philip Shaibu, the highest beneficiaries of Oshiomhole's administration, sullied Adams Oshiomhole's image in the eyes of the general public when all they accused the former governor of was what they appear to be doing.

Today, the PDP in Edo State is factionalized, with all of the candidates for the upcoming general election divided into two camps that are spending large sums of money on campaigns when they do not know their faith in the eyes of the electoral act.

We are clearly waiting for Philip Shaibu and Obaseki to defend themselves and save their integrity in front of the general public and the electorates who voted them into power.

How is this a scam? A cash contribution kept in pocket to be used for the agreed purpose is now a definition of scam??
Re: Oshiomhole Vindicated As Obaseki Allegedly Scams Philip Of 300k Usd(video) by Obaofaba: 1:27pm On Dec 28, 2022
Oshiomole still trends years after leaving office.

Edo state will forever be grateful to him.

They've learnt their lessons the hard way I believe.

We warned them, and they said Edo no be Lagos which is right absolutely.

Lagos State governor can't be inaugurating street lights as his achievements.

The only thing he did oooo.

I'm so ashamed unfortunately they can't right the wrongs until at least the next two years.

That's why we are calling on the well meaning Nigerians to not just campaign rigorously against Obi but also vote against him.

He'll be the worst thing to happen to Nigeria and Nigerians.

My advice is to well meaning Nigerians and not to ipobians please.

We want and pray for the ipobians to vote for Obi so as to reduce the votes for Atiku.

We love Igbos because they are our number one fans.

Rubbish!
Another useless shekpe joint story written for those with no commonsense to believe.
Even if shuaibu gave obaseki $300k,was it a guarantee he would win the election?
Just for argument purposes,it only shows he invested in someone he believed could win as his own contribution to the campaign.
It was left for the electorate to decide who they wanted and they chose obaseki.
I believe in suing bloggers if they concoct stories and publish it,because there are people out there who, despite having a commonsense, believe anything they read or hear.
