Just after the Deputy Governor of Anambra state had a public face off with the Nigerian army(in a Viral Video) over unbearable checkpoints. The Nigerian Army chief of staff has threatened to withdraw its forces from Anambra.

This is coming at a time when Anambra faces security challenge and this could be disastrous. Governor Soludo has immediately lambasted his deputy and called for a press briefing to apologize to the Nigeria Army. Watch the video above.

Salary scale is between 40k to 300k yet work hours is 9hours facing criminals

If check point gets withdrawn in a volatile region, security forces would be happier while criminals would be happiest

Checkpoints in anambra are meant for extorting money from motorist. How many UGM or kidnappers have they arrested?
You shouldn't turn road users to hardship in the name of roadblock. If you must apply road block, a queue shouldn't have more than 20 vehicle

I'm really surprised with Soludo and the brand of politics he plays. He will really struggle to retain his seat during the next election. As for the so called checkpoints, until you experience one, you will understand the outrage. In some of these checkpoints, vehicles are made to stop metres away from them and every occupant asides the driver gets down and treks the distance to cross the checkpoints, while raising their hands above their heads. Motorists gets brutally extorted and the traffic jams they cause can be unbearable. But its fine, let him keep playing to the gallery
