News - Africa news .Security-Nigeria - Armed soldiers Thursday shot two suspected members of the violent Nigerian Islamic sect Boko Haram, in the northern state of Adamawa, the military said.

A military spokesman, Lt.-Col. Idachaba Idu, told journalists in the northern city of Jos that the suspects, who were riding on a motorcycle, were shot after they fired shots from the assault rifles they were carrying in Song, Adamawa.

'One of the suspects was killed instantly while the other was injured,' he said.

Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for the series of deadly bombings in Nigeria, including last Friday's bombing of the UN House in the capital city of Abuja that left 23 dead.

The group is based in Maiduguri, capital of the northern state of Borno, but has apparently spread its tentacles to other northern states as well as Abuja.

Anybody that looks like Almajiri in the north should be arrested for proper interrogation because they potential Boko Haram suicide bomber.Streets of Kano, Kaunda,Boron,Bauchi,Gombe ect should ransacked and smoked out before they strike again.
