2023 African Development Bank Fashionomics Africa Contest: $1000 Grant by busineshob: 5:51pm On Dec 28, 2022
The 2023 African Development Bank Fashionomics Africa Contest for African fashion entrepreneurs (USD 10,000 cash Prize) is now accepting applications from eligible candidates. They are working in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme, Parsons School of Design, strategic consulting and communications agency. The partnership also includes the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the Centre for Sustainable Fashion

The African Development Bank is hosting the digital contest as a challenge reward. This project’s goal is to highlight African fashion firms that will revolutionize the way we make materials. It will also depict how we buy, wear, and dispose of clothing. The initiative is also intended to inspire a more long-term adjustment in customer behavior.

2023 African Development Bank Fashionomics Africa Contest – Requirements
This competition is open to fashion professionals aged 18 and up. Applicants must work in Africa’s textile, clothing, and accessories industries. To qualify, contestants must seek ecologically friendly, ecological, and sustainable consumption initiatives. The company must be involved in the textile, garment, and accessory sectors.

Youth (18-35 years old) and female-led fashion firms will be given preference. Candidates must be African citizens. Individuals must also be residents of an African nation and possess an identity certificate. Passports, national ID cards, and voter cards issued by African countries are acceptable documentation. Entrants must have started a fashion company. Candidates must work in the textile, garment, or accessories industries. Businesses that have just begun are invited to apply. A copy of your company incorporation will be required.
