The YORUBA And IGBO Cannot Survive Without One Nigeria by babasolution: 10:57am On Dec 29, 2022 |
The Yoruba and Igbo have over designed their economy, politics and systems to be over dependent on one NIGERIA. The only regions that can actually survive without one Nigeria are the north, and nigerdelta. These people cannot leave alone as they would murder themselves to oblivion. The Yoruba came under British colonial power because they were busy killing and enslaving themselves, the British had to step in. The Igbo are currently killing themselves today and they have made enemy of other regions today. Most other regions subtlety dislike them. They would have no allies without one Nigeria, leaving them vulnerable to foreign especially French recolonisation. The Yoruba have Lagos port but without one Nigeria the port will not generate the kind of money it currently does because there would be competition from south south ports which the north will use to their advantage. The igbos do not have much opportunity for a viable port and will depend on the nigerdelta. The Yoruba and Igbo economy is too skewed on dependency to one Nigeria. These regions do not have viable mineral resources, the gas in the East will have to pass through other regions for export and will be heavily taxed. These regions do not have viable agricultural potential has they have neglected Agriculture and have not developed it .This will affect their Agriculture redevelopment as it would be slow should they wish to kick-start it affecting the economy of their regions, many people will be pushed to severe economic hardship. Their so called human resources is laughable as without viable capital ,they wouldnt have access to capital except to borrow themselves to slavery to white colonial power or chinese control, their so called human resources is very limited and not viable as they have neglected their education system under one nigeria. They haven't developed industrial capacity so to start it after leaving one NIG will be an harculean task. The commercial prowess of the Igbo will be severely impacted as the Igbo depend on other Nigerians to sells their imported goods, who will they sell to when visa restrictions are placed on them by other regions if they leave one Nigeria? Their so called industrial capacity will not materialise so much as they think, this is not 1960.They have thoroughly watered down their industrial prowess under one Nigeria. Reindustrialization will be a hassle. IT will not cut it for them as the market for their IT products will be limited. The only thing they have is the diaspora who might abandon them and seem citizenship of their migrant countries. They will mos likely have to sell themselves to slavery to survive for a couple of years after leaving one Nigeria. In summary the Yoruba and Igbo are the most dependent on one Nigeria as it stands, their economy depends on other regions and the funding from oil and Agriculture from the north. Only the north and Nigerdelta can stand on their own. The Yoruba and Igbo not being a very great people and a people who are probably the two most enslaved tribes in history of human existence as they contributed the most to human cargo from West Africa as the slave coast region will suffer without one Nigeria. 3 Likes 1 Share |

See the conditions the G-5 Governors Gave Tinubu 1. Tell Nigerians who killed Funso William. 2. Tell Nigerians why you bedwet and pee on your clothes in public? What if it happens in your meeting with international bodies? 3. Tell Nigerians the name of your primary school. Tell Nigerians at least 5 of your primary or secondary classmates/schoolmates. 4. Tell Nigerians your childhood, your father, mother siblings and how you couldn't pay school fees but inherited estates. 5. Tell Nigerians your teachers at least 3. 6. You've been accused of drug peddling, why are you quiet? Tell Nigerians with believable evidence what you did in Chicago that made US charge you with drug crimes. 7. How do you intend to fight corruption after carrying money in bullion vans? Tell Nigerians how a big thief like you intends to catch small thief? 8. Buhari spent a fortune on foreign medical trip, we won't support you if you can't treat yourself in Nigeria. 9. Tell Nigerians how much you make from Lagos purse every day. 10. What is Bulaa baluu, corn-agbado situation? And why do you dodge TV interviews? You have two days to respond using Arise or Channel TV or forget about G-5 support. Signed Gov. Wike 6 Likes 2 Shares |

To some extent you are right but just as Igbo and Yoruba cannot survive other tribes will not survive too. It is only the Niger delta that may survive. But then within a year or two other tribes will look for solution |

You guys joke too much If Nigeria breaks up today, SouthWest is at advantage Dangote Refinery alone would generate so much income for SouthWest that the whole of West Africa would depend on Lagos for Petro chemical Look at Power Plant contributing electricity, Omotosho and Olorunshogo plants can supply west with steady power if not connected to national grid Go to Lagos Ibadan express way, got to Sango Ota axis, Go-to Agbara go and check out massive industry and factories producing heavily . 7 Likes 2 Shares |

NimrodEndOfDays: Dangote already answered this question several times His model of business isn't structured to recieve crude oil from Niger Delta that is why he located his refinery in Lagos and not Niger Delta UK, Korea, India , South Africa even Ghana all have Massive refinery and little or no crude oil Even at that Lagos and Ondo State produces atleast 60,000 bpd 3 Likes 1 Share |

OP, thanks for acknowledging that Igboland is rich in gas, but claiming that it cannot be exported without being taxed as it passes through other region. This is where you failed it. Our gas will not be exported like your oil. We will use it locally for industrialization. Also we will not export raw agricultural products like the north. It will be transformed into finished goods locally. We will also need most of our import/export needs via air cargo. Thank you |

Moh247:And when the independent country of Niger Delta build their own refinery and get their crude from within and saturate the whole west African with cheap petrol, Dangote will close shop. Remember how his massive tomato factory in Kano closed when Erisco ran him out of business |
