*THE PEOPLE OF OWELLE COMMUNITY HAIL SOLUDO AND PLEAD FOR IMMEDIATE REINSTATEMENT OF THEIR DETHRONED TRADITIONAL RULER.* IGWE ANTHONY OKECHUKWU ONYEKWERE

The People of Owelle Community in Anambra West Local Government of the State have hailed Mr. Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo and described the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Prof. C. C. Soludo as the answer to the prayers of the Agrarian local government of Anambra West.


Speaking to newsmen in Owelle Community, Mr. Christopher Nnabundo, the General Secretary of OWELLE Progressive Union (OPU) who hails from the OWELLE community and other ranking title holders were full of praises to Mr. Governor for his purpose driven style of governance. In his words, Mr. Christopher Nnabundo stated thus, "We the good people of Owelle Community in Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State are full of appreciation to Mr. Governor for ensuring that Anambra West is secured and at peace before and during the yelutide celebration.

Mr. Governor, prior to now, the various communities in Anambra West including OWELLE TOWN were bedeviled by one crisis to another.

On the area of infrastructure, you may be surprised to Know that Anambra West is the only Local Government in Anambra State that has no mororable road since it's creation, but that is changing as Mr. Governor has brought back road contractors who are working on the road and without doubt we trust that our town's roads will be constructed and our people will be able to use tarred road for the first time since our existence.


"Soludo is a man of Peace, You can see his signature across various town Unions as he has restored peace through a free and fair election of President Generals in many communities through the tirelessly working of the Hon. Commissioner for local government Chieftaincy and Community Development, Hon. Tony Collins Nwabunwanne".


"To know a good Leader, all you need to do is to look at the caliber of persons working with him and with this, We are saying that Mr. Soludo is truly worthy of the mantra "Solution is here" and he is truly God sent as his appointees have demonstrated and vowed never to rest until they implement the Solution Mandate and this is very obvious in the area of infrastructure, Peaceful election of traditional Rulers and President Generals of various towns Union.


Mr. Governor, we are aware of your efforts in Anambra State toward creating a livable homeland, peaceful and crisis free communities and we are eternally grateful.

"Prior to now, Anambra has been the home of protesters who marched to the Stata capital and I their various communities to protest against the imposition of caretaker committees, traditional Rulers and President generals who bought their way with money but today, law and order gradually being restored across Anambra State and we are grateful to Mr. Governor as we are hopeful that Mr. Governor will restate our traditional ruler who was illegally dethroned and his certificate of recognition withdrawn for no lawful basis.


"We are using this period to appeal to Mr. Governor to please restore our dethroned traditional Ruler, IGWE ANTHONY OKECHUKWU ONYEKWERE, whose only offence was that he accompanied Prince Arthur Eze to Abuja amongst other traditional rulers but he was maliciously dethroned by the immediate past administration while his other colleagues were reinstated by the same immediate past administration.


"We are calling on Mr. Solution to extend the law, peace, order and justice which he has introduced in the governance of Anambra State into our OWELLE COMMUNITY by reinstating our traditional Ruler whose certificate of recognition was withdrawn by the immediate past governor.

OWELLE COMMUNITY has been engulfed in serious crisis ever since the unlawful dethronement of our traditional ruler and reinstatement of IGWE ANTHONY OKECHUKWU ONYEKWERE as the traditional ruler of OWELLE TOWN will in no small measure heal a lot of wounds and return peace to OWELLE TOWN.
