A gubernatorial support group for the All Progressives Congress Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Alh Muritala Ajaka Yakubu has thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for his state visit to Kogi State, an occasion which the group described as epoch making, they also commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his outstanding performance it described as breathtaking which became evident, undeniable and commendable because of the visit for Commissioning by the President which made the media to expose the projects as commissioned, to the whole world to see.

The group which operates under the auspices of Muritala Consolidation Mission says Governor Bello's giant strides is health by constructing with six new hospitals, in Education by building a new University and Model Secondary Schools, In Infrastructure by building the Ganaja Flyover, Civic Center and several other projects have positioned the party for victory in 2023. The group's Spokesperson, Comrade Johnson Ajibade says the presence of the President in Kogi and assurance on Ajaokuta Steel Company is a morale booster for APC members and indeed Kogites.

Mr Johnson says that the people of Kogi are indeed grateful to Governor Bello for marching words with actions in his new direction administration. He said the party have become more popular with the support their Principal, Alh Muritala Ajaka Yakubu is giving the leadership of the party in the state. He said Alh Muritala has through humanitarian services, youth/women empowerment and cash support brought hundreds of people into the party.

Mr Ajibade further said that the vehicle donation of Alh Muritala Ajaka Yakubu recently to all the LGAs in the state have further made Tinubu/Shetima Project an achievable one. He commended Alh Muritala for being a generous party man.

The group said they are out to mobilize and sensitize party delegates and leaders on the need why a person like Alh Muritala should succeed Governor Yahaya Bello, he said the party at this time needs a unifier, a mobilizer, an experienced manager of human resources as a successor to Governor Bello. Mr Ajibade said Alh Muritala Ajaka Yakubu is exactly the right fit for the Consolidation agenda of infrastructure development Governor Bello is doing. He said Alh Muritala has the network, the emotional intelligence, the exposure, the experience and the makeup of a person needed to lead the state at a time like this. He therefore call on the party members to support Alh Muritala Ajaka Yakubu to succeed Governor Yahaya Bello.
