ZAYYANU ALIYU MAGATAKARDA WAMAKKO, the biological son of Sokoto State APC leader and serving senator representing Sokoto North, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has decamped from the All Progressives Congress to the People’s Democratic Party.

Zayyanu Magatakarda, who is also son in-law to the current Minister for Police Affairs, Muhammad Maigari Dingyaɗi, an APC leader in the state, declared his membership of the PDP at the party’s campaign rally in Wamakko town today.

The APC leader’s son told the crowd that his move was inspired by the progressive spiri of the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal. He said he identified with the development strides of the current PDP administration in the state and expressed readiness to join in the party’s effort to advance the life of the people.

Magatakarda revealed that he was joining PDP along with his teaming supporters, who are poised to work towards the victory of the PDP in the upcoming elections.
