OP, there are even four IDP camps in Abuja alone: 1) Lugbe 2) Area One 3) Kuchingoro and 4) Kuje Nigeria is facing very serious security challenges. As Peter Obi said earlier, Nigeria itself is now one huge IDP camp. It's never been this bad and that's why Obasanjo said APC took Nigeria from frying pan to fire 4 Likes 1 Share |

EmekaBlue: There are numerous IDP camps within an around Abuja. If only you know how many persons ran away from their villages in Nassarawa, Abuja, Kaduna and Niger states |

Majority of Nigerians are internally displaced persons without them knowing. How do you describe a whole who a not allowed the freedom of movement and business every Monday by ipob? How do you describe people who have been sacked from their farms and other means of lively hood by herds men? Nigeria is indeed one huge IDP slum. According to Obi. 1 Like 3 Shares |

nedu666: What is the significance of the likes? Do you take likes to the bank? There is little or no difference from internally displaced persons when you are denied freedom of movement in your own domain |

I once listened to a program where displaced persons at the Kuchingoro IDP camp were complaining about their situation. These were people who fled their villages following herdsmen and boko haram attacks |

Godfullsam: Dis ur argument makes no sense. Sit at home means u are in ur house. Idp means u hve been chased from ur house and community. If u argue otherwise then why are those u sat at home during covid in 2020 not called idp since their movements was restricted |

As far as modern Nigeria is concerned, IDPs started around Abuja long before Fulani killings and flooding started. Kainji dam created IDPs in present day Niger state, Biafran war created IDPs all over former Eastern region. Relocation of FCT to Abubakar Ja (Abuja) displaced more people in the NC region. Then their grandfather, Fulani militants finished the work now annually being supported by flood. Don't forget that Nigeria presently has Yoruba IDPs in Benin republic. Other IDPs are in Cameroon and Niger and Chad. So the country is one big IDP as more are expected as Fulani are determined to make the country their permanent homeland. Unless a serious president like Peter Obi is elected. |
