The fractional Afenifere leader, Pa. Adebanjo, was quoted saying:

"How are you going to justify Tinubu when Obasanjo had spent eight years? Or how do you justify Atiku when another Northerner is leaving the place? That’s the crux of the matter. The South-West has done, South-South has done, is South-East not part of Nigeria?"

He was quick to divide the South into three fragmented parts, but failed to do the same for the North.

This is the false narrative that many Southern folks keep pushing. The North Central and the North East can equally demand for presidency like the people of the South East given that none of these two zones have reached Aso Rock in all of Nigeria's democratic history since 1999. This is without considering the fact, that the South East, produced the first Executive President of Nigeria.

This narrative that the North is one single monolith should stop.

Pa. Adebanjo point doesn't hold.

and one thing u failed to understand is that, abdulsalami and babangidi are from north central. Igbo are the major tribe left behind.

Democracy! Read to understand and not to argue! You also failed to mention Gen. Ironsi aka The Ironside.

Let the north speak for themselves and not you a Yoruba.

Baba spoke for the South.

Yorubas occupy two states in the North Central to a significant degree. Only a few, like the Tivs or Gbagyis, can boast of such in the North Central.

But this post is not about my ethnicity, I don't even identify as Yoruba.

This post is about Zoning.

So because a South East presidency is being discussed the North is no longer one entity?

Has the North ever been one? The MiddleBelt sided with Awolowo and we also voted GEJ in his first election.

Try another narrative especially if you've never traveled out of your zone before.

Just imagine for a monent that Ahmadu Bello was a Yoruba man... Yorubas would have conquered the world by now. Not someone like Adebanjo that has no respect for his own tribe.

The likes of Adebanjo were there when Yorubas were marginalized in the immediate past administration but kept quiet simply because of the crumbs he was probably getting. Even Buhari never did to the Igbos half of what GEJ did to Yorubas despite the fact that SE didn't vote for him.

The truth is it's one region north one region south ...north just finished the next is south and the only region south not to have it is south east ...after south east it goes to north central or north east

If u don't get it then I can't help you
