It will be foolishness for you as a believer in Christ to spend your brief stay on earth on trifles, rather than on the well being of your spiritual state.

For all those things will perish, you will leave them behind, and even some are so detrimental to your own body.

Put your spiritual well being first.
Let it be paramount.
Do not let physical things choke up the advancement and healthiness of your spiritual life.
Time here is short.
Don't throw away eternity of bliss for some trifling junk.
I mean don't let earthly things act as a stumbling block to offend in Christ.

Take a look at the scenario of the rich man and Lazarus.
The rich man had all, but his spiritual state was zero, and landed in hell.
Begging for just a drop of water from Abraham, whose spiritual state was alright.

A rich man with a bad spiritual state asking for comfort from another rich man who put his spiritual state first.
