EZE-IGBO GHANA CELEBRATES BRIGADIER GENERAL TIMOTHY OPURUM ON THE OCCASION MARKING HIS PROMOTION IN THE NIGERIAN ARMY

As the Opurum Dynasty in Dim -na- Nume Isu Autonomous Community in Nwangele LGA and the rest of ndi Imo celebrate their illustrious son; a fine and polished Military Officer, Timothy Maraizuchukwu Opurum, on his well deserved promotion and decoration in the Nigerian Army as a Brigadier General: the Eze-Igbo Ghana and Assistant Publicity Secretary, Association of Ndieze Ndigbo in the Diaspora, His Royal Majesty Eze Dr. Amb. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu (Ohazurume 1 of Ghana), has also seized the opportunity the medium has created to salute the leadership tenacity of the newly decorated Brigadier General, TM Opurum, for growing in the rank and file of the Nigerian Army from a Cadet in the 46 RC Degree course and overtime in his military career as he attended several advanced traninings both in Nigeria and overseas.

While congratulating Brigade General TM Opurum for his dedication to fatherland, consistency in his career, patience and avowed loyalty to the Nigerian Army, the revered Igbo royal father , Eze Dr. Chukwudi Ihenetu, however, commended his amiable wife, Queen Chinyere Timothy Opurum, for standing by her husband all through their years of waiting and trusting in the Lord for promotion which has finally come. He also, advised other women to emulate the patience and sacrifices of this Amazon of a woman who is happily married to a now celebrated top military officer.

The Amaigbo Nwangele- Imo State born diaspora Monarch, HRM Dr. Ihenetu, also advised military officers who aspire to grow in the rank to emulate the excellent and professional conduct of Brigadier General TM Opurum in the discharge their duties and love for fatherland.

In a statement issued from the most revered Obiukwu - Obieziokwu Ndigbo royal palace in Ghana, the Umuduruoha Amaigbo Nwangele- Imo State royal father, HRM Dr. Ihenetu, a Global Peace Ambassador who won the 2021/2022 Champion Newspapers Most Outstanding Diaspora Personality Of The Year Award, said Brigadier Gen. TM Opurum's recent promotion is not only timely and well deserved but also an act of God since he was among the few carefully selected but qualified officers among several others who applied and went through series of examinations by the Nigerian Army .
