Tinupoo is quaking in his boots. How will he now rent crowd again to compete with Peter Obi?

Politicians can still rent crowds if you do the maths correctly. All they need do is to transfer huge money to many of their cronies who now has about 6weeks for presidential election and 8weeks to governorship election which amount (#3millions and #4millions respectively) per each cronies to settle their wards.

Trust me that's already a lot of money to bribe thousands of people.

And I haven't talked about those monies they already warehoused before today.

Since most political stalwart are symbiotic scavengers, many will even use their own personal funds to rent the crowd knowing fully well they will be compensated with contracts if their candidate wins.

To think polithiefians wouldn't have thought this through, and they will leave anything to chance is at our own peril. They already have all the cash they needed to rent as much crowd as required for the election.

Remember, criminals will always be one step ahead!

This cash withdrawal policy is a violation of people's right to earn and spend. There is no reason for this policy except to push a tyrannical agenda that will not benefit Nigerians.

See my recent post on why CBN eNaira and cashless policy is evil here https://www.nairaland.com/7513315/why-cbn-enaira-cashless-policy

The major issue ain't just the charge on the excess cash. You'd need to state a reason why you need the excess while submitting your TIN (for corporations), Any recognized national means of identity, BVN and the banks GMD/CEO approval is required. Secondly, note that you can only access above the limit (if approval is given) once a month.

It is being linked to BVN so having multiple accounts won't help.

This might greatly reduce kidnapping or ransom money becomes lower as cash won't be readily available and local kidnappers have no know-how to create an untraceable account to receive transfers.

It will not reduce kidnapping or crime. The high crime rate in Nigeria is as a result of bad economy and unemployment. CBN cash withdrawal limit policy will not benefit Nigerians and the economy.

Transfers don't have limit only withdrawals. Like access bank allows transfers of 5,000,000 per day

The cash withdrawal limit is anti-people.
It is a ploy to control the finances of everybody, and was probably suggested by a foreign or international organization.
It is a potentially dangerous situation. It should not be implemented.
