Despite Buhari endorsing Ganduje in 2019, Ganduje only narrowly won the state against Kwankwaso's protege with a difference of about 9,000 votes, while Buhari won Atiku in the same state, same election, with a difference of over 1 million votes

2019 Governorship Election
Ganduje: 1,033,695
Abba Kabir Yusuf: 1,024,713
Difference: 8,972 votes

2019 Presidential Election
Buhari: 1,464,768
Atiku: 391,593
Difference: 1,073,175 votes

Ganduje had a reputation problem from the video showing him taking bribe, as alleged.

Tinubu also has a reputation problem from multiple controversies home and abroad, including his indictment in a US court for heroin trafficking which led to an asset forfeiture of $460,000. Apart from Tinubu's past haunting him, his recent campaign appearances have been below par and appalling, which are believed to be why he avoided debates.

Gandollar did lose that election to Kwankwaso's Abba.
Buhari/APC only deployed state machinery to forcefully steal him a 2nd term.

I'll be the least surprised if that dollar thief loses his polling unit next month.
