Prof. Pat Utomi, a renowned political economist, claims that landlords in Lagos are refusing to rent homes to the Labour Party (LP) for use as party offices out of concern for attacks from APC members.

According to the former presidential candidate, landlords have voiced concern that if their properties are rented to the Labour Party, hoodlums associated with the APC may set them on fire.

In Lagos State, you cannot put up a poster. If you want to rent a house, for Labour Party, the landlord will say he doesn’t want APC people to come and burn down his house. You put up posters, they are torn within minutes.

“What kind of democracy is this? This is fascism that we are introducing into Nigeria. And I anticipated it. I wrote about it in a book that came out a couple of years ago – Why Not? It was about citizenship, state capture, creeping fascism and the criminal hijack of politics in Nigeria.

“So, you get these kinds of conditions that obviously are all targeted at stifling democracy and then you get the actors conducting themselves in manners where you see an erosion of the legitimacy of the process,” he told The Niche.

peaking further, he stated that the emergence of the LP flagbearer, Peter Obi, into the presidential race has resulted in an increased willingness among Nigerians to vote in next month’s election.

He said, “Until the Peter Obi phenomenon bust unto the scene, people were less and less interested in democracy in Nigeria. You can follow the afro barometer measures, longitudinal year on year. After 1999 when there was excitement for democracy, it has been down progressively. Fewer and fewer people were voting.

“But when the ENDSARS generation, young people decided that they were going to use democracy to change this horrid condition that we are living in, registration went up. In spite of the things that may or may not have happened in INEC, we got nearly 13 million new voters registered. That is a phenomenal leap from a declining process.

“People want to use this democracy and now these people, the oppressors, seem committed to doing everything to prevent the people from having their will. So, 2023 is about how the will of the people can triumph, how a country whose population has a median age of 18 can have a small group of people in their 70s and 80s, less than three per cent of the population, hold their knees on the neck of the people.”

Many people will be shocked to their marrows from the outcome of the coming elections. With Mustapha revelations about the Sambisa Forest and Boko Haram terrorists, it is only those with low understanding of the implications that will vote APC or PDP. They all understand the game and are the reason why the country remains where she is today. Yorubas canvassing for Tinubu for tribal sentiment should understand that Shettima was imposed on Tinubu because he or El-rufai has the needed qualities and boldness to deal with the older and weaker Tinubu.

Lol. Pots calling kettle black. Isn't the same thing going on in the east where they're even killing their own fellow Igbos for wearing Nigerian army uniforms instead of joining their Ipob cause?
A typical Igbo man will disown his own mother and best friend for not supporting Peter Obi. Is that the kind of politics of intolerance we want in this country?

Tomorrow, someone will be complaining that the West comes to monitor our elections but we don't monitor theirs.

Propaganda

There are two houses in my neighborhood that hosts Labour Party meeting every weekend and PitoObi and LP banners are conspicuously displayed there.

Says an Igbo man campaigning for an Igbo candidate. What have you done about security in your region before wanting to end terrorism in the whole country?

We are not talking of tribal sentiments for now. We are concerned about a set of individuals bound in occultic agreement not to allow the country to move forward. Go and Google Mustapha revelations about the activities of Boko Haram. Nigeria has no reason to borrow one dollar if not to develop the mineral resources. Yet these criminals have borrowed the next generation into poverty without anything to show for it. I weep for this country. Obi is the person who the country needed. I was for Osibanjo before they sidelined him through election primaries. The only alternative with sufficient backup to save the nation is Obi.

1. You started the talk about tribal sentiments and I just showed you a mirror.

2. I know about the Mustapha "revelations" but no where did it mention Tinubu.

3. If you think APC has destroyed the country why then where you in support of Osibanjo?

4. If you think the problem is both APC and PDP then why are you in support of Obi who was a member of PDP until a few months ago when he left because he wasn't sure of the party ticket?

5. Wouldn't you and all your Igbo brothers be campaigning for PDP right now if Peter Obi had managed to obtain the party nomination?

6. What did Obi achieve while being a governor in terms of security, infrastructural development, poverty alleviation etc as a governor in Anambra state that now qualifies him to rule the whole country? Where you not all bitterly criticizing his leadership while he was governor?

"..As the 2023 general elections beckon, Nigerians and people of goodwill should come together and make sure that the APC and its Leadership does not have access to power again.

This clarion call becomes necessary because APC is a Party that is made up of strange bedfellows whose political and economic interests are antithetical to the development of Delta State in particular and Nigeria in general.

The struggle for power, "grab-grab" and if "it is not me, it cannot be another person's mentality" of APC Leaders is what has brought Nigeria on her knees today!

The above analogy properly fits the APC Leaders. They do not hear the hue and cry of the majority of their followers, and Nigerians who are living in abject poverty!

To show their dangerous and embarrassing level of wickedness, they use their political parrots and emissaries of confusion who have sold their souls to mammon to defend the indefensible; even in the face of a threat to peace and existence of Nigerians!
Criminal Mentality Will Not Work Again In Nigeria Reject APC
