The state logo and insignias and the body and soul of the state are reflections of their culture, form, and being They rule and govern their land Their language is dominant Their language is the permanent socio-cultural and entertainment medium Their roads, streets and institutions are named after them and their heroes They reformulate their own ideas, rules, and laws and they develop their own land ...but some nnewi rif raf Igbos and ESN village jihadi terrorists are shouting no man land. Biodun556:No doubt about Lagos belonging to Yorubas...The Egbas, Ijebus and the Aworis are the owners of Lagos state and they are predominantly in Ogun state... Thats why there is no much difference between Lagos and Ogun state in terms of Culture and traditions. 26 Likes 2 Shares |

Jogs1900: Even in the history of Eyo festival. It was an ijebu man that introduced it to honor a particular Lagos king and since then, it becomes tradition It is true that Lagos and Ogun have almost the same Yoruba groups but the Aworis are more in Lagos than in Ogun 13 Likes 2 Shares |

The green leaf on that logo is from biafry. In year 1341 when buafry people were chased by unknown cutlassmen they became homeless and confused they started trekking. They discovered Lagos and settled down there but didn't discover Benin and Akure .hey planted all the palm trees due to hunger. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Biodun556: The ribbon (bearing the motto) The crest (shield) The yellow The blue The leaves at the top of the crest (shield) All these have no meaning? Then the designer and the decision makers on this logo have some questions to answer. |
