Who doesn't know this before now? The likes of Owobokiri here on Nairaland called Obi a failure about a decade ago when he was the governor of Anambra State but today they're saying he's the best thing since sliced bread. They make it look like they don't like Tinubu because of the M/M ticket. Big lie. If APC had chosen Osinbajo, Fashola, Akpabio, Oshiomhole or Amaechi, they wouldn't have still voted any of them even though we know these people plus Tinubu are more competent than their overnight messiah, Obi. When will these people get brain? Peter Obi presidency will not stop ipob agitation, it would rather institutionalized ipob terrorism. How will Obasanjo want Igbo to be president just to pacify them over Biafra loses and not considering dynamic interest. Peter Obi is a wrong choice for the Igbos. He is ipob on a revenge mission. He would drag Nigeria backward and destroy government institutions. He is another Aguiyi Ironsi that will plunge Nigeria into second Civil war. In the short video clip KOK also appealed to all Nigerians to support and vote for President Peter Obi. Its not be entirely the fault of detractors for not seeing or hearing him...they are irredeemable BATists obviously. The Igbos have been partners in electing Presidents of other tribe, sowed seeds in PDP and given all they have for 23 years, it's only fair that other tribes return the favor...that's all KOK was trying to say. But things like the OP will as expected turn it to a tribal war...that's all they are good for When Dr Alex Ekwueme stepped down for OBj at 1999 Convection, Igbos where not seen as pursuing ethnic agenda. When Igbo's abandoned their most Reverend and Respected General (that can only be compared to Sarduana and Awolowo) Odumegwu Ojukwu RIP, the Igbo's were not pursuing ethnic agenda. Even Buhari had to pick Okadigbo as deputy to pacify the Igbo, again we reinforced our support for our Southern Yoruba brothers and voted them again. We wia not pursuing ethnic agenda then We have forsaken, sabotage and abandoned all other Igbos that have attempted to aspire anywhere close to Aso Rock just to please other tribes so as to be seen as progressive and partners in building Nigeria. And now just for once we found someone worthy of the mantle, globally renowned to be the best candidate in this election and we are being vilified and ridicule by those we've been aided to power. They have ascribed antagonistic names to themselves "the Igbo tormentors" "enemies of igbos" and all kinds of titles. Yet we extend the brotherly hands for then to support an idea that it's time has come. It doesn't matter if you are Yoruba Muslim it takes two to tango...go ahead and support President Peter Obi it's for the good of the Nation. You can choose to unpack the clip anyhow you like... Nonetheless, KOK logic is that Igbos should support Peter Obi fully since he has already gained the support of most Nigerians... You don't cherry-pick to drive a misleading narrative... Listen to the whole clip and get a drift of what he was saying... In any case, the Igbos are integral block of this country... I don't even bother myself with the obi of a man and his silly promises because I know he won't even come third in the election. If the man is lucky enough, he might win Anambra State, his home state. Nobody in his right senses will vote for an ipob candidate here in the North. Not the northern christians nor the northern Muslims. The Election is between APC and PDP. And everything now is a close to call. You can't really say who is going to win. Though I believe APC have a bit upper hand but people might revolt against them with their votes. Many Nigerians have not been finding things easy for some years now, though not everything is the party's fault, but some of the problems people are facing are the architectural work of APC. 1 Like 1 Share |

Freedom of association is a fundamental human right and people can decide to form association based on numerous factors including Tribal affiliations. Wonder shall never end! Tinubu said that the presidency is Yoruba turn and when it comes to Yoruba, it is his turn (Emilokan). Peter Obi said that Nigerians should not vote for him because he is Igbo or from the south East. Tinubu went and foisted a M-M ticket on a country with diverse religious believe with a radicalised VP that has a history of associating with Boko that has caused immensed suffering and displaced large population of Nigerians.
