Amazing product, clean and looks like it's going to be delicious.

But, one thing that still gets me confused is how can foreign rice that has been shipped all the way from Asia with shipping fee paid, import duty paid, smuggling cost incurred and still lands in the shop more cheaper in price than a local rice that didn't go anywhere.

The reason is very simple:
Climate conditions, low technology, poor quality seed are contributory factors to the high cost of local rice in the market.
