For Nigerians that have money to invest, are you aware that buying and selling lands in certain areas can make you rich?

I have seen people saving money in banks or investing in Treasury bills only to watch the value of their money become worthless over a short while. Putting money in any bank facility that won't give more than 17% interest rate is actually a waste of time and money. Are you aware that inflation in Nigeria is in double digits? In essence, 2 million left in bank will become worthless within a while. However, same 2 million used in buying land can give you 4 million in just 2 years.

This is not hearsay but something I have been doing for myself and other clients. The crucial factor is having the knowledge to decipher a land that can appreciate on time. Because it's not every land that appreciates on time.
