In the market where she went to campaign for the election, the Nollywood actress-turned-politician reportedly encountered several hoodlums who accosted her. The PDP governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, also known as Jandor, said that his team members were stabbed during the attack on Tuesday, January 24, while speaking with the chief imam of Ketu Central Mosque.
