The founder of Mount Zion Ministries, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye, has tackled Nigerian celebrities, particularly actors and actresses who promote nudity, romance and other social vices with their movies.
The evangelist turn movie producer via his Instagram page on Thursday morning called out Nollywood actors and actresses who promote moral decadence with their ‘excessive kissing and romance portrayed on a movie set.


According to Mike, these celebrities have corrupted the society with the kind of movie displayed on TV.

Mike Bamiloye’s remarks about ‘nudity’ and ‘movie romance’ is coming in the wake of the loud nudity in the trending Shanty Town movie.

Taking to his Instagram, Mike Bamiloye wrote thus:

Dear Movie-Maker,
You think you are doing great movies?
You think you are making money?
You think you are getting popular?

I am not in support of nudity or any form of immorality but I think this person got it wrong, there is practically no country in the world today that the immorality going on in nigeria today but there are countries in which the level of the nigeria film industry and their things are not happening, so it's not necessarily the film actos that are to blame, every part of nigerian life is full of evil and wickedness even many from the position this man is speaking who should be shining examples are part of the problem, let's accept the reality of the matter, that Satan is responsible for every form of evil and will use every willing tools and profession to achieve that, there are children and adults who even if they watch those things, will not be corrupted by them, what is the difference is that, those who understand the plans of the devil will not fall victims, those that were brought up to know their God and what they serve will not get corrupted, in the islamic countries and places where people cover themselves from head to toe still got adulterers and other forms of immorality, what about nigerian politicians and people in authority who are using their positions to carry different types of wickedness

This is FALSE. Nollywood tells Nigerian story from the Nigerian perspective. Evangelist Mike Bamiloye wants everybody to keep making Christian movies which is a false representation of who we are.

Take it or leave it, bad leaders have corrupted Nigerians. Nigerians are NOT good people. I usually summarise Nigerians with three qualities: opportunists, hypocrites and fraudsters.

However, I agree that the scenes where men and women kiss in movies are totally unnecessary. If we want to watch porn, we know where to get it.
