Is Hausa/ Fulani not the only tribe in the North becoming President despite having Kanuri,Yorubas,Junkun,tiv,Nupe,Igala?These other tribes never contest with Hausa/Fulani because they are the majority.
Yorubas are the majority in the South and the economic backbone of Nigeria followed by South South.The only region in the South to contest Presidency with Yorubas are the South South for the enormous contribution to Nigerian treasury like Yorubas.

Igbos have no business seeking for Presidency in terms of economic value.After a Yoruba Presidency,South South will be next.How can South East contest against its sponsors:South West and South South.

Only South West and South South deserve Presidency in Nigeria.

Why exactly should PDP zone to the south? The South always think they are too smart. People have to learn to realize that zoning is an intra party thing and not affected by external activities of other parties.

In 1999 and 2003, the south had their chance, 2007 PDP gave it to the north, that was supposed to run also from 2011 to 2015 but again life happened and their candidate died and a southerner took over the northern chance. So, in 2019 it was the turn of the North, that is still within PDP and so it will be in 2023. Perhaps in 2027 and 2031 they can now give it to a southerner.

Southerners have to realize that within the PDP itself, the northerners have only held office for only about 2 and a half years.

A northerner ruling in the APC is an internal politics of APC and should not affect the internal politics of PDP. Southerners should stop trying to be too smart, it will come back to hunt them. This is one of the reasons why I think Wike should have slowed down.

The real question you should be asking is why did PDP not zone power to the south.
APC never won in the South East when it comes to the presidential election.
SE always vote PDP and you now want the APC to reward them with their presidential ticket.
This is about how many vote a party can get from a region and which candidates can help them pull it off.
Instead of the southern PDP to back Wike to force the PDP to dump Atiku you are all worried about APC.
Wether you believe it or not more than 70% of labour party members are from PDP and that's why neither of them is going to win.
