APC Plans Mega Rally For Tinubu In Anambra State

The All Progressives Congress, APC, says all is set for the Presidential Campaign of Bola Tinubu billed for Tuesday, 31st January 2023.

The rally will take place at Ekwueme Square, Awka, the State capital.


Briefing newsmen after the inspection of the rally venue, the State Chairman, of the Presidential Campaign Committee, Senator Margarey Okadigbo said “arrangements were in top gear to ensure the successful hosting of its candidate.”

Okadigbo said that they had perfected a strategy to take the party back to the grassroots.

The planning committee Chairman, Azuka Okwuosa, described the level of preparation as satisfactory having been pulling through within-depth planning of what he termed ‘mother of all rallies.’

The State Chairman of the Party, Basil Ejidike, said they were working together to ensure a hitch-free presidential rally.


He noted that each of the 326 wards in the state would mobilise no fewer than 100 people for the event.


According to him, various support groups across the state are expected to grace the occasion.

They won't draw much crowd unless the coordinators are honest enough to spend money meant for mobilization. Anambra are not doing the Guber election and people who are APC NASS members in Anambra are not popular aside from Azubuogu from Nnewi.
