Breaking: Thugs Destroys Rivers APC Campaign Ground In Opobo, Beat Up Campaign DG News reaching True Blue Reporters has it that thugs in large numbers believed to be acting in order of a political party in Rivers State on has on Tuesday vandalized all equipments, canopies and every arrangement put in place by the All Progressives Congress, APC in Opobo Nkoro, Rivers State. An eye witness who spoke with our reporter from Opobo town also narrated how the LGA campaign director general, Boma Brown was beating up and later rescued by party faithfuls at getting the information. The APC had planned it’s governorship campaign today in Opobo Nkoro haven gone to some other LGAs in seek of votes ahead of the 2023 Guber election. A member of the state campaign team who is also part of the governorship candidate campaign team confirmed this incident to True Blue Reporters and also said Boma Brown was earlier whisked away by some thugs believed to be loyal to the council chairman. However, the chairman of Opobo Nkoro LGA is yet to react to the incident as at the time of filing this report. Even though this may not be unconnected to the State government order 21 & 22. On Monday, the SDP governorship candidate was also attacked around Ahoada, Rivers State during his campaign. A situation which saw shooting and running for safety of those present, including the Guber candidate of Social Democratic Party. The police is yet to react to the incident in Opobo as at the time of filing this report. But will the APC go reconvene and go ahead with it’s campaign in Opobo Nkoro?
