Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Attends Meeting Of The Nnewi Anglican Diocesan Council Of Laity, Visits The Diocesan Special Education Center.

~ Calls For More Prayers From The Church For The Cessation Of Insecurity In The Senatorial District.

~ Council Expresses Profound Appreciation To Senator Ubah For Undertaking The Rebuilding Of Burnt St. Christopher Anglican Church, Umuezena.

After his meeting with the Laity Council, Senator Ubah accompanied by his wife led his entourage to the Diocesan Special Education Center which was established to rehabilitate, educate and care for people living with various forms of disability. During their brief visit to the facility, they had one on one interaction with the occupants and presented various gift items to them. The special kids, in return, made emotion-laden prayers for the Senator.

The Senator representing Anambra South and candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial election, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, 04/02/2023, called on the church not to relent in praying for people in leadership or public positions. Senator Ubah made the call during the Set Apart and Meeting of the Nnewi Anglican Diocesan Council of Laity at the Diocesan Church Centre (DCC), Nnewi According to him, the role of the Church in nation-building cannot be overemphasized.
He further urged the church to always pray for God's intervention in curbing the insecurity in the Senatorial District, especially as his action program tagged operation Secure And Light Up Anambra South Senatorial District records more successes by the day.

Senator Ubah who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Uche Ubah also appreciated the Diocese for showing continuous support for his legislative activities and maintained that the church has a crucial role to play in the sustenance of peace, orderliness and security in the society.
He further reassured the Laity Council, Nnewi Diocese, the Anglican Communion and the Body of Christ, that he will not relent in supporting legitimate groups and organisations to promote the well-being of the people.
The Anambra South Senator further informed the Council that in response to their appeals, he would provide a brand new bus for them to aid the smooth delivery of their services in the Lord’s vineyard.

Speaking on his recent activities in the Red Chamber, Senator Ubah informed the gathering that recently, he flagged off the execution of “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” which features installation of solar-powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) Light System and other powerful electronic gadgets that will help security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all wards of Nnewi North Local Government Area.
The Senator further revealed that each ward in Anambra South Senatorial District received fifty units of solar-powered facilities.
This, he said will go a long way in boosting the economic activities of the zone and help in curbing the huge capital flight that has ravaged the zone as a result of insecurity.

Senator Ubah went on to remind the elite gathering that his track record as a private individual before becoming a new-breed politician attests to his love for human capital development as he has built facilities that are aimed at creating employment opportunities for the people. He further maintained that some of his legacy businesses like Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi-Ozubulu, and Authority 91.9FM, Nnewi, have generated employment opportunities for so many families.
The Senator also reassured the Council that just as he has done since joining the 9th senate, he will never relent in his efforts at partnering with relevant authorities in triggering the development of various communities in the zone.

He urged them to maintain their continuous support for him to sustain the facilitation of quality programmes and projects in the Senatorial District.

Also speaking, the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate for the 2023 Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency election, Hon Peter Uzokwe urged the Laity Council to consolidate their love for YPP by voting massively for the party in the 2023 National and State Assembly elections as that will bring in more developmental opportunities to Nnewi North, Nnewi South, Ekwusigo and the entire Anambra South.
Hon Uzokwe also urged the church to always pray for constituted authorities and assured them that their sacrifices shall never be in vain.

Responding, the Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi appreciated Senator Ubah for his numerous legislative and personal actions, which are aimed at supporting various groups and organizations to promote the well-being of the people.
The Bishop who was represented by the Chaplain of the Diocesan Council of Laity, Rev Canon Godwin Onuchukwu specifically appreciated the Senator for his intervention project at St Christopher’s Anglican Church Umuezena and prayed to God to bless his ambition and grant more grace and protection upon him and his entourage.

After the meeting with the Laity Council, Senator Ubah along with his amiable wife and entourage visited the Diocesan Special Education Center, which was established to rehabilitate, educate, and care for people living with various forms of disability. During their brief visit to the facility, they had one on one interaction with the special needs kids and presented various gift items to them.
They, in return, made special prayers for the Senator.

Present at the event were the President of the Laity Council, Chief Muozom Edward, the Council’s Second Vice-President, Hon Samuel Ejimbe, the third Vice-President, Lazarus Obikobe and the Council’s Archdeaconry Leader (DCC), Elder Chima Ochulor.
Others include the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, Chief Vin Onyeka, Chief Dan Edokwe, and members of Afaigboefuna Solidarity led by their president Chief Ernest Otugo amongst others.

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah Reiterates Commitment Towards Selfless Representation As He Attends The Meeting Of Association Of Nnewi Former Political Appointees And Stakeholders.

The Senator representing Anambra South and candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial election, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, reassured his constituents that the promotion of their well-being will always be his priority. Senator Ubah made the remarks during a meeting with the Association of Nnewi Former Political Appointees and Stakeholders at Hotel De Universe Nnewichi Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Speaking at the event, the Senator said that his major functions as a legislator are to make laws and attract projects that will promote the well-being of ndị Anambra South.

Senator Ubah who was accompanied by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah, Chief Dan Edokwe, Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, Chief Vin Onyeka, members of Afaigboefuna Solidarity led by their president Chief Ernest Otugo, YPP Candidate for 2023 Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency Election, Hon Peter Uzokwe, YPP candidate for 2023 Nnewi North State Constituency Election Sir Augustine Ikedoji and some stakeholders further used the opportunity to inform the gathering about his latest activities at the Red Chamber.
He disclosed that two of his Bills for the Establishment of Federal Orthopaedic Hospital Ukpor and Federal Medical Center Uli recently passed Public Hearing and if signed into law by the president as expected, the establishment of the medical facilities will contribute immensely to the development of the Health Sector in the Senatorial District.

The YPP Candidate for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election further informed the gathering that he has flagged off the execution of the “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” which features an installation of solar-powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system and other powerful electronic gadgets that will help security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all wards of Nnewi North Local Government Area and various parts of the Senatorial District.
He also maintained that he is the first Senator of the District that facilitated projects in every ward.
He listed some of the projects which include empowerment programmes executed in parts of Anambra South in partnership with various governmental agencies and ministries like the Nigerian Ports Authority, National Directorate of Employment and Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.

Senator Ubah also said that health projects such as St Patrick’s Hospital Ula Ekwulobia and Primary Healthcare Centre Uga were facilitated by his office, and maintained that apart from using the instrumentality of his office to provide healthcare facilities for his constituents, he did the unimaginable by convening high profile citizens under the umbrella of Anambra Progressives and Development Union (APDU) to build ultramodern medical and isolation centres at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (Permanent Site), Nnewi and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka at a time when the nation was battling COVID-19 pandemic and that the facilities which were completed within one year have since been handed over to the management of the aforementioned institutions.

Speaking on the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections, Senator Ubah appreciated ndị Anambra South for their continuous support and urged them to cement their love for him by voting massively for YPP in the 2023 National Assembly and State Assembly elections.
He also reassured them that their sacrifices shall never be in vain.

Also speaking, the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, Chief Vin Onyeka appreciated the group for believing in Senator Ubah and his party, YPP despite their different political affiliations.
Chief Onyeka further reassured ndị Anambra South that Senator Ubah will not relent in doing them proudly at the upper chamber of the National Assembly.

In his remarks, the Obi of Nnewichi His Highness Obi George Onyekaba (Obidiugwu) appreciated Senator Ubah for making community development and support for traditional institutions his priority.
Chief Onyekaba further reassured Senator Ubah that he will always get the support of the people and prayed to God to bless his ambition.

Responding on behalf of the group, their leader Hon Arinze Nwosu appreciated Senator Ubah for his giant efforts towards human capital and youth development. Hon Nwosu further appreciated the Senator for his selflessness and assured him of their continuous support.
