This current crop of justices needs to be investigated and removed. How can a case be move to the supreme court directly?
The Supreme Court has original jurisdiction in any dispute between the Federation and a state or between states and also has appellate jurisdiction to hear and determine appeals from the Court of Appeal.

This is bad for Nigeria at the moment. If elections weren't in 2weeks time, it wouldn't have been a wrong move. Corruption is indeed fighting back.
election apart

The policy has almost led to break down of law and order in the country

The court has no choice than to extend it for months, pending till the new notes get across the federation

FG that's not serious. Why won't supreme court use them to shine kongo.
There's nothing wrong with the policy but the timing is evil

Many things are wrong with the policy.
Not just the timing but also the speed/rate at which it was implemented. Not just that, too little cash was released. Not just that, banks were not given sufficient time to upgrade their internert facilities and capacities.

Buhari government does not obey court orders.
The supreme court judgement was not even referring to the office of the president. The judgement was directed to the office of the CBN and the hat is emefiele.
Emefiele cannot even use the president to cover in this case.
Emefiele has no choice but to answer to the supreme court with powers to ask for his arrest for disobeying the highest court of jurisprudence backed by the constitution
The best is for him to head to the same court but obey first

Remember DSS is praying he disobeys

Nigerians are running and shouting all over the place that they are suffering because of non availability of the new Naira notes that banks and ATMs are not dispensing, now some governors won an injunction to alleviate your so called suffering and you are still mad and upset, you still don't want your suffering to be alleviated.

It's either many of you are hypocrites, disingenuous, liars or just too odiously political and tribal to even see what's in your own best interest.

The governors have no problem securing the new notes and they are definitely not suffering because of the new notes, they are not the one lining up for hours trying to withdraw money from the ATM or fighting in banking halls, you are so how are they your problem?

Is the misguided and incompetently created and administered policy the governors policy?

The governors are not the problem, people like you are really the problem because you can not see or reason beyond your nose.

Did u need to reply foolish people?

It's abnormal arguing with person who is far below u when it comes to knowledge and understanding.

The person u re reply, I am very sure, he doesn't have 1 Kobo in account provided he even has bank account, they are still feeding him, so how can he knows level of suffering in Nigeria.

IPOB and Atikulooters will not plunge Nigeria into a state of anarchy. The whole world has now seen the evil design of Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar and their supporters. They are the greatest hypocrites in Nigeria. They want Nigeria to go into a state of anarchy for their selfish reasons of gaining political advantage of Tinubu. They don’t care if people die, they don’t care if war breaks out, they don’t care if democracy is truncated again Nigeria through military coup. They are the most wicked, devilish and callous human beings. Nigerians should avoid voting Obi and Atiku, they are hypocrites and devils. They want to feed on your blood to gain victory.

As much as I hate APC and Tinubu, changing the currency within three months will always be a disaster if you have a country with 60% of the population without a bank account.

Vote buying is a symptom of failed government policies. Had Buhari and the previous government doing their job and improved financial inclusion across the country, we wouldn't have this problem.

El Rufai organized a meeting in Kaduna yesterday and urged the people to continue using the old naira notes. He told them Tinubu would review the policy when he wins but people thought he was kidding. Now I see.

Kogi, Zamfara and Kaduna which made this move are all states governed by APC. We now know the party that has the interest of the common man at heart. This thing would pain those who thought they could win elections by inflicting pains on the masses.

God bless incoming President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Ok
It means the judgement will be copied to the CBN,office of the president, minister of finance and the bankers union .
So it also means that the CBN governor will needd to issue a fr ah directive to all the banks
Then the CBN will need to assembly it's legal team to go to the supreme court on this issue first before another directive can be given

Now if the Emefiele disregards the supreme court ...........the supreme court can automatically ask for his arrest

I dey look DSS and NASS with very sharp crocodile mouth and shark teeth
Buhari doesn't obey court orders.
FG may device a smart way of sidelining the order.
Banks may still not collect old notes after 10th

Unfortunately it is the CBN that will issue directive on wether to obey the supreme court or disobey the supreme court .This judgement has nothing to do with Mr President

Now if a bank follows the earlier directive from the cbn(S it is now that directive has been halted).Do you know the magnitude of 'wahala ' the cbn will be involved when it is brought to the knowledge of the supreme court.
Now imagine if the supreme court now ask for emefieles arrest.do you think DSS will turn a blind eye?

You don't talk like that. Emefiele is very stupid and God will punish him for this.

In my local government, there's no single commercial bank, people don't have bank account. So what happened to the people there? They travel like 80 kilometers to get to the nearest bank with their thousands of naira. On getting there you're given a tally number 581. From morning till 4pm only 110 people were attended to. They have to travel back and come again. Emefiele will regret this bcoz his motive has failed.
