Court Of Appeal Sacks Greg Ibe As APGA Governorship Candidate In Abia by Metrix147: 9:35pm On Feb 08, 2023
The Court of Appeal in Abuja has declared that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has no governorship candidate for the 2023 election in Abia State, ABN TV reports.

A unanimous verdict of a three-member panel of justices read by Justice Stephen Adah on Wednesday ruled that the failure of the party to conduct a valid primary within the time set by law robbed it of the opportunity to participate in the elections.

A Federal High Court in Abuja had in December 2022 nullified the May 29, 2022 primary of APGA in Abia on the grounds of irregularities in the conduct.

The court presided over by Justice Binta Nyako then ordered the party to conduct a fresh primary within 14 days.

The primary has been marred by controversy with Prof Greg Ibe, Etigwe Uwa and Chikwe Udensi all laying claims to the governorship ticket.

Good!

This is God clearing the way for Alex Otti.

It seems God finally wants to remember Abia.

Meanwhile, where is Soludo? These are some of the cases he should be settling as the national leader of APGA. But the idiot prefers to write letter to Obi.

See this one already looking like he's sick before contesting not to talk of winning.
Meanwhile our democracy has been destroyed with over 40% of court cases from gubernatorial elections to senatorial, reps etc. That's why over 10 states has governors that their swearing in date isn't tallying with May 29th.
States like Rivers, Ekiti, Osun, Ondo are examples. I see a democracy that's truncated and scattered in future if things don't change for better. I must say that from the records, politicians from 1999 need serious time in jail and forfeiture of their loots. The cost of governance they enjoyed is extremely higher than the contributions they made. They all got jobs that's underserved, earned so huge and still did poor job and embezzlements.
