TRIXX NG reports that a student of the Yaba College Of Technology (YABATECH) has attempted suicide after she as caught cheating in exam hall and asked to fill the exam malpractice form.

The student, simply identified as Damilola was said to have consumed insecticide probably out of shame or frustration.

Her story had gone viral on the internet but there seem to be a misinformation as many online platforms claimed she attempted suicide because her boyfriend broke up with her.

In a chat with one of the top officials in this institution, she made it known that the reason for her attempted suicide isn’t because her boyfriend broke up with her. She explained that Damilola broke up with her boyfriend herself so it couldn’t have been the reason.

‘’ She was caught yesterday during her exam and was told to fill the exam malpractice form. She already has four carry over during the first term examination. She broke up with her boyfriend herself and not the other way round’’

During the chat, it was also established that she was rushed to the military hospital where she is receiving treatment.
