Heard from Channels TV this morning on Sunrise program that the CBN governor (Sanusi Lamido}is advocating or planning to ask banks to make the minimum balance in any savings account in any bank to be N25,000.

Nairaland members and the public, Is this true? if true, this man must be out of his mind. Is he planning banks to be for the rich only? How come that this man put up policy that is not for the interest of the poor masses? If minimum wage is N18, 000.00. Per month, how come that the people within this class can be able to save N1, 000 per month? Is this man a Nigerian or is he living in the moon? Is it because they have access of looting our treasury dry by stealing that they come up with this kind of laws? Closing banks and selling them to those he loves?.
