A report reaching Politainment.net early this morning is that Governor Okowa’s security team was attacked. This attack resulted in the death of three policemen. Sadly, the killing is becoming very disturbing.

The government has expressed its deep sadness over the recent attack on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa’s advance security team. This resulted in the death of three police officers.

Sadly, the Delta State Information Commissioner, Charles Aniagwu, confirmed the attack in a press briefing held in Asaba.

According to Commissioner Aniagwu, the policemen were part of the advance team en route to meet up with Governor Okowa. They were headed for a scheduled Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) campaign in Abia State.
