The Ogun State Police Command says its men have arrested two suspects who allegedly bought the stolen car of a couple, Kehinde and Bukola Fatinoye and their only son, Oreoluwa, that were killed on New Year’s day in Abeokuta.

The police which paraded three suspects who allegedly killed the couple and their son on Friday, said, it arrested two suspects who bought the stolen vehicle of the victims on Monday.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.

Oyeyemi said the two suspects, Azeez Usman and Owolaja Aanuoluwapo, were arrested at different locations in the state following the confession of the suspects.

He said the suspects told the police that the car was sold to Usman at the rate of N150,000.

He said, “After killing the couple, the suspects got hold of their son, Oreoluwa and their adopted child, Felix Olorunyomi, tied them with rope and put them in the booth of the Hyundai car with which they drove them to Ogun River Bridge at Adigbe area, and threw them into the river.

“The suspects later parked the car somewhere in Oke-Ata area of Abeokuta, but, later contacted Owolaja AanuOluwapo who went there and drove the vehicle to Azeez Usman’s workshop where the car was butchered into pieces and sold in parts.

Police investigation revealed that the two suspects were duly informed that the car was stolen, but, they went ahead and bought it at the rate of N150,000.”

Oyeyemi, however, said the state Commissioner of Police, Frank Mba, had ordered that all the suspects be arraigned in court as soon as the investigation was concluded.

Ahhh.

Butchered and burn the couples?

Bundled the children into the river?

Butchered their car for scrap

These are evils! What can be their offense to deserve these?

I read that the driver and killer used to beg the late woman for a job. Out of mercy she employed him, little did she know she brought a full-fledged beast into her life to destroy her family. This is one of the reasons the well-to-do should don't have anything to do with the poor.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) it can't be so. It is not the well to do that would become the driver, cook, cleaner, gate-man etc of another well to do. One way or the other the rich will have to interact with the poor. This is where proper due diligence comes to play.

"Every day is for the thief, but one day is for the owner".

They must have been abetting crimes for a very long time. They should be made to go through hell.

May the culprits never know peace. These are people who make things so tough for the decent ones looking for assistance. Many are now so scared of bringing strangers into their homes. Yet, in the past, many less privileged people benefitted greatly by making good use of the opportunities given to them by the rich or middle level cadre.

Now, the new entitled mentality makes one wary. He wanted an increase on his 45k salary. Why not leave to earn something better elsewhere? He also wanted the man to buy a vehicle for him. Why should that be his boss' responsibility?

May they all roast in hell after suffering immensely on earth. Their deed is too heartbreaking. Animals in human skin!

Well to do shouldn't have anything to do with the poor. You don't use an incident to generalize.
