The Benue Gov. you alluded to has no choice because he is contesting on that same day and except APC directs its candidate to step down for him, he has nil chance the moment he endorses Asiwaju.

Endorsing lp is inconsequential to Ortom and does not move a needle or save him from impending loss at the Senate election because APC has a strong guber candidate and very influential popular Presidential candidate.

But I thought Buhari compensated Tinubu with juicy position for most of his crony nominated for that purpose, starting from Gbajabiamila etc. What payback exactly could be more than that? If Tinubu wanted a personal benefit of that magnitude for himself, he wouldn't have nominated anyone to fill any position in Buhari's government, with that he'll have the effontry to demand for a full wage of support and rightly so at this time. Remember CPC came on board the merger with assured 12milio vote, they sure have the upper hand as far as this merger is concern. If ACN are sure of their support base they can negotiate with that number upfront, and expect the rest figure to come from CPC. They shouldn't expect CPC to give them the bulk of the vote this time around, while they contribute a meager figure to emerge victorious, such victory is never a sweet one.
