President Buhari has declared 500 and 1000 illegal and that decision stands!!!.

It's very unfortunate that there is nothing state governors can do about it, they will only succeed in deceiving their followers ..

Those governors who are daring Buhari will end up complicating issues for their citizens, putting the citizens to more pains and agony, thereby making them to hate APC more..

All Banks across the Nation are working with CBN, and follow instructions from Emefele..

So after telling your citizens to use the old notes , where would they deposit the money at the end of the day, the same bank that is under CBN that is currently rejecting old notes?

No wahala, he should create central bank of Jigawa then, but a wise business man can never engage in that kind of business suicide..

Only uninformed idiots who will still turn around and rebel against the same governor tomorrow can be deceived with such lies

Urchings should also move to Kaduna and Jigawa too.. grin grin grin grin

I think you're the uninformed one here. CBN orders cannot be canceled, changed, altered by Any executive or legislative action. Supreme court orders automatically becomes binding even if those laws are made in error. In an instance where it is, then only the supreme court can alter itself. If this is not so, then supreme court can rule on election matters and they'll simply choose to ignore.

LLagos , Kaduna l, Jigawa , Ondo, Ogun, Kogi etc The North and SW have rejected the disobedience of the Supreme Court by FG and CBN.

Aso rock cabal lule pii.

CBN is still playing and they think Supreme Court is playing.
He is playing with jail.
The directive from the President is an illegal directive that disobeys lawful court order.

For the first time in my life, I'm liking ur comment

the most sensible question people should ask these governors is that if eventually, the supreme court rules in favor of CBN and fg and cbn refuses to accept the old notes, will these governors bear responsibility for the naira in their states?
Actually, constitutionally, all notes ever issued by the CBN remains the property of the CBN at all times.

Buhari, the most useless President Nigeria has ever had. Always waiting until everything had spoilt beyond repair before can make up his mind and take a position. This is what this clueless dullard has been doing since he got there.

This is also how he destroyed his party, and finally the country before leaving.

What a disaster of a president

Wow...so the same president you have been supporting since 2015 is suddenly guilty of giving illegal directives. All these years, was he giving legal directives?

Constitutionally speaking, the supreme court's decision should not be disobeyed by parties in a case

The same supreme court ruled that 1000 and 500 are still legal tender pending the February 20 ruling. Why is that difficult for the FG to comply with?

I think all the governors not supporting this evil plans should stick together and openly speak with one voice to disobey the tyrant who still thinks he is still running a military regime.

For all the dullards shouting state of emergency, remember there are consequences and the international community is watching and listening to everything going on in this country

Most of you were not yet born or too young to remember all that happened when his mentor Abacha did what he is trying to do now

This is a case of history repeating itself

The drama is getting interesting. I was at one of the popular market yesterday here in Lagos and I am surprised the people selling there at still taking the old notes.

The yellow bus are still collecting it while some filling stations are collecting it too. More than 3 banks i visited don't have a shishi to give.

I believe the governors are trying to help the masses because by now if not for the old notes the economy will be totally shut down.

Let see who will win between the FG FC and Governors FC.

The politicians and the bank managers put us into this mess in the first place, that's why I'm not even condemning the actions of those destroying banks.

I hope your mother in the village has enough of new notes to spend.
I hope your father doesn't have to waste his life on the queue looking for 2,000 cash.
Cos I know many of you lose your commonsense when you enter the realm of politics.

Before defending nonsense, think of your parents who are dying in the sun because they want to collect 2k.
Don't let foolishness make you blind to the suffering of your parents.

If the bus conductors stop collecting the old notes a lot of people will be stranded because the new notes are still very scarce
