You see why APC Governors are right

Emefiele is a clown

I can deposit 500K in 5 different bank accounts making 2.5m meaning old notes is still a legal tender .....since the deadline specified is April 10 . Alternatively if you have individual and corporate accounts ....500k in each account

Redesign Policy is completely defeated.
u re missing it, u can't deposit more than required no matter how many account u have, why cos ur B.v.n is only one, and it detect all that happened or happening in all ur account.

Your sense of analysis is poor. If the banks will collect, it means I take it from my customers and return it to the bank anytime I'm inclined. So ,where is the ban ? Buhari is an extremely unintelligent person. Never know how to do anything right. BVN , NIN, SIM card registration ,,APC primaries ‐ all are monumental failures. He's an insanely vindictive person. He never embarks on any policy except there's an enemy to pursue. And he's always failed by
his shallow wisdom and low IQ .Are we still not registering SIM CARDS ,BVN and NIN?
And now he has added currency swap to his list of unending disasters.
why will you collect sth that ceases to be a legal tender? you are a dunce.

CBN is simply trying to be clever by half since they know the governors are already ahead of them. If Banks are still collecting the old notes, then business can still collect them as legitimate means of exchange and then proceed to deposit same in banks.

This kind of policy summersault is what happens when you try to implement an illegal decision despite the order of the Supreme Court and the very obvious hardship that citizens are facing. Kudos to the courageous governors who have ordered their residents to continue to accept the old notes as means of exchange. They are the heroes this period. Big shame on all those who are supporting the suffering that Buhari and Emefiele are inflicting on Nigerians simply because of politics. After the election, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will reverse the inhuman policy.

Foolish people celebrating it as a win for tunubu, the process is still thesame, you still need a reference number from cbn to pay in and at max 500k….this is what the cbn wants, the aim is still on track to mop up all old notes before election.

....and you're not w!se enough to know that this is a victory for the said politicians? Definitely, they will not return anything to the bank. They will rather use the old currency for the election purposes and the voters will gladly accept them, when they know that they can easily take them to the bank or in the alternative, sell them at
a discount (like 15k for 20k or 8k for 10k) to those who have access to the bank

So it's the druglord's MU-MU ticket we should vote for or we should allow another Northern Muslim to succeed an outgoing Northern Muslim?
Na only North and Muslims dey Nigeria?
Sense is far from you!
If you like keep playing the tribal card till next week Saturday morning, I and millions of other Nigerians will VOTE for PETER OBI.
Yes I am a Northerner from Nasarawa State and I MUST VOTE OBI!
Equity demands that the Southern part should produce the next President, if we must live as one in Nigeria, then every part must be carried along, especially the Igbos.

. That's to be expected. Emefiele thinks the CBN would be insulated from chain reaction consequent upon grievances to he and his principal's demonic and utterly sadistic policy?

The answer is simple! Make say 50% of mopped up monies available in the redesigned form and good luck with Cashless Banking.

You confiscate cash without a care for our small daily transactional needs like food and transport and expect all to be well? Worse still enforce a mindless slashing of daily withdrawal limits? Haba!

It is intentional . They know what they are doing

Cbn only make the pronouncement to ease the stress in the public. You will still passed through the stress but not much by generating the code online. Also the #500 and #1000 is no more a legal tender in the public. Cbn operatives want to ease the stress of Nigerians here. Kudos to them. More collections of the old naira notes.
Oga old note still remain legal once the bank can collect it from it's customers. This is what happen when we implement policy to hurt individual in the name of politics without considering the negative impact of the policy to Citizens .
