All this myopic thinking. Buhari has steadily be getting 12m voted in the north and in 2015 it wasn't exception. South west gave him additional 2.6m votes while south east and south South gave him 1.something million votes. Remember he has been getting at least a more substantial votes from south west but has not been voted for in south east and south South. It has always been a significant votes he is getting there, even when he took their sons as VP in two different occasions. Meaning it was a collective efforts of people and not only south west. I even gave it to people that sold him to south east and south South more than those that sold him to south west because it wasn't easy to sell him in those two regions. And it was even better in 2019 than in 2015 in south east and south South while the trend reduced to 2.4m in south west in 2019. But remember he still maintained same 12m votes in 2019 and that was the votes Atiku got then.

Also to add, one of the causes of the scarcity of the old notes aside the politicians is simply cos majority of us are holding and not spending, as an adaptation mechanism of current happenings. I had 10k new notes since Jan 31, it just became 4k yesterday. 99.9% of all I have been paying for has been by TRF. This is the case for very very many people, we are holding the new notes and not spending, so it isn't exchanging hands as should, simple!
